I saw this cute idea from Sarah Klass using the friend die cut from Lovely Words
with the pop bottles in the SU Bubble Over stamp set.
The idea stuck in my head and came to life on my desk a week or so ago so we made it at our Kick Off Luncheon last weekend. I used the FREE Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper (DSP) behind my die cut and cut the straws from vellum…or invisible paper it seemed as we played with it at our luncheon…lol.
It was easy to create a bright palette for my card since I just pulled the colors from the DSP- Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral. I used some retired Bermuda Bay baker’s twine to add some texture. I used the negative of the larger bottle die on the inside and popped in a cute little label.
The Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper is just perfect with the Bubble Over Bundle. Not only does it have designs with pop bottles/pop caps but also designs with stripes/geometric shapes that can work with any stamp set. And the best part of it…it is a FREE Sale-a-Bration item with a $50 Sale-a-Bration order!!!
Happy Monday, friends! What a wonderful weekend I had with all my stamping buddies at our Annual Sale-a-bration Kick Off Luncheon! I still have to pinch myself when I think of all the special friends I have made since I became a demonstrator. Thanks to all of you who came and braved the cold- inside and ouside- heeheehee.
This is one of the 6 cards we made at our Occasions Catalog Kick Off.
It incorporates a technique called an Eclipse Effect.
How did I make it?
Well, I have another video for you!!
Sorry for all the Ummm-s.
My former homeschool students would not be happy
after all the years I told them….too many ummmms!!!
Hey there! I just got home from setting up for my big Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Kick Off Luncheon tomorrow. I drove through the rain, sleet, and snow of GA and SC on Wednesday and Thursday to get to Pittsburgh yesterday! I can’t wait to see all my girls! Woo Hoo!
I will show you all our goings on after the weekend…but for now,
here is a bright and cheery card I made with one of the super stamp sets called Beautiful Peacock
that you can choose for FREE with a $50 Sale-a-Bration order!
The Beautiful Peacock was one of the first stamps to catch my eye in the SAB line-up.
I just had to ink it up with Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist!
Happy New Year, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, and I wish you the best in 2018.
I am so thankful for all of you who subscribe to my blog and those who visit.
I have had a ongoing New Year’s Resolution for the last five years since I became a demonstrator…
and today it has finally come to fruition!! My first video…
I knew when I set out to do a video, if I started editing and re-editing,
it would be 2019 before I was happy with it!!! So here it goes unedited…
(probably, since I am still learning to edit, too! )
I did it!
A few little blips like…the Watercolor Pencils are Flirty Flamingo, Rich Razzleberry, Lemon Lime Twist, and Old Olive. To think I used to pick up on these little blips on videos I watch but now I know how difficult it is to talk, think, and show items all at the same time!
It was fun, and I look forward to doing some more. Thanks for watching!
The 2018 Occasions Catalog goes LIVE on Wednesday, January 3… along with Stampin’ UP’s Annual Sale-a-Bration!
