This is the NEW Sailing Home Bundle coming out on June 4, 2109. I can never have enough nautical stamp sets. I have some from previous years but without handy dies to cut out the images. I love the textured rope die and the ship’s steering wheel. And, of course, there is a lighthouse in the set, another sailboat, and some great sentiments including Happy Birthday!
The NEW come Sail Away Designer Series Paper is so great, too!
And, oh my gosh, how did I ever live without those Rectangle Stitched Dies?!?
Oh my, I played with the Stampin’ Up Painted Seasons Bundle and fell in love.
I paired it with the beautiful Lasting Lily stamp set.
The images stamp so beautifully with a very detailed realistic impression. I was in a blue/pink mood when I designed this card.
I sneaked in some retired Pool Party DSP to coordinate with the ink on the big flower. Any DSP will work to decorate the inside of the card.
Here is a video showing how to cut the fun front flip on the card.
Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side. Cut in 1-1/4″ along the score line on each side and cut away the rectangle flap by cutting at 1-1/4″ on each side
Whisper White: outside panel 2-3/4″ x 4″, inside 4″ x 5-1/4″
DSP on inside: 1-1/4″ x 4″
The Painted Season Bundle comes with the stamp set and the coordinating Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper.
You can get it for FREE with a $100 Sale-s-bration order.
You can also get the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper on its own for a $50 Sale-a-bration order.
Also available for purchase is the Four Seasons Framelits that cut out the images in the Painted Seasons stamp set.
And, the Lasting Lily stamp set is also FREE with a $100 Sale-a-bration order.
and it has coordinating framelits for purchase, too!
It happens every catalog…I see a bundle…pass it over…then, say…
hmmm, I am going to take a second look at it…
And, by golly, I LOVE it!! The Stampin’ Up Humming Along Bundle is just fabulous!
Look at that huge bloom and that lovely hummingbird.
I even made it stand out more on my card by heat embossing it in black. Watch my video to see how I did it with Memento, Versamark, and my handy Stamparatus…
*Thank you to Carol for her reminder of SU carrying black embossing powder item #146956…I was actually thinking how we did not carry Black Craft Ink anymore that we could emboss with clear and get no strays!!!! I loved this technique because we could use CLEAR instead of BLACK embossing powder because it is neater:)
Notice that die cut negative in the middle of the birthday card? Isn’t that cool?
I can’t wait to use the blue die cut that came out on some other card.
Whisper White Thick Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ on 11″ side, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ for images, 3/4″ x 4″ strip on bottom
Basic Black panel: 4″ x 5-1/4″, 2-1/2″ x 3″for sentiment label
Balmy Blue panel: 3-3/4″ x 5″
A simple card…that has a few little details to make it special…
For my card base, I used the already printed Delightfully Detailed Notecards ready for stamping or layering with the Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Designer Paper. There are 20 colorwashed cards in the package -5 each of 4 designs in Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss. The Notecards are packaged with 20 Very Vanilla envelopes as well.
I used the Stitched All Around Bundle to stamp the sentiment and cut it with a coordinating die. I used another beautiful die cut from the set of framelits to layer under the sentiment. I popped a circle of Mint Macaron under the sentiment die to show off the details on it. And, then under it all, I used a piece of the lattice pattern from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Paper.
So many neat items in the Delightfully Detailed Suite….
