Stampin’ Up! Gnome for the Holidays Surprise Gatefold Card Video Tutorial

August 5, 2020

I was never really drawn to GNOMES but the Stampin’ Up! Gnome for the Holidays
is just too darn cute!!!

I am now a Gnome lover!

This card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire’s Surprise Gatefold Technique,
I modified mine a bit to make it even easier!

Check out my video showing how to make this easy card:

NOTE: Be sure to line up your pattern on your Designer Series Paper on each side of the gatefolds.I fixed mine in my photos but you will notice I had the paper upside down and the plaid pattern was not lined up!!! Also, to center the gnome on the right gatefold so it is covered by the left larger square, turn him over onto the larger left rectangle not upside down!

I just love the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint! Fun, fun, fun!

Some cuties on the inside to finish the card:)

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

  1. Your circle hinge is brilliant! So much easier. I like your measurements better than Jennifer’s too. Thank you for sharing your ideas, the card is quite pretty and such a useful layout.

  2. Good Afternoon My Dear. I have been on Youtube for years and is only this morning I found your unique beautiful Cards. I love all of them, they are unique, stylish and easy to follow. I definitely would be making all of them from now. I have made 85 cards so far. I have been asking a few card makers to help me and show a video how to make a particular card, but to no avail. I know now is Christmas Cards, I would appreciate if you can show me how to make this particular card. I am sending you the link. Thanking you in advance. Would you please let me know when you would be making the card for me.
