Stampin’ Up Easter Card

Happy April to you, friends!

It’s Easter month so let us start off with an Easter Card to celebrate our Risen Savior!

I love the simplistic elegance of the delicate flowers and vines in the Stampin’ Up His Grace Stamp Set. I stamped it twice using my Stamparatus to create a frame to hold the beautiful sentiment. I used some scratch copy paper to stamp one side and then turned the paper and stamped it again while it was in the same position on my Stamparatus. It did take a few tries with moving the image a few times until I was pleased with the frame:)

I chose the soft hue of the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker because it pairs so nicely with Pear Pizzazz ink color and cardstock. I just used a light touch when I was coloring so it did not bleed into the ink. Usually, it is best to use Memento Black with the Blends;)

I came across a Trophy Fun Fold Card in my stash
and decided to make one featuring the sweet little bunny
from the Stampin’ Up Fable Friends.

Here is a video showing how to make a Trophy Fun Fold Card:

I trimmed off the ends from the lattice die cut from the Stampin’ Up Petals and More Thinlits and
adhered them to the edges of the sentiment die cut from the same Petals and More Thinlits.

Measurements:
Grapefruit Grove Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 10″ scored on the 10″ side at 1-1/4, 2-1/2, 3-3/4″, 5″, 6-1/4″, 7-1/2, and 8-3/4″
Place the 5″ score line in the groove and cut from 5/8″ to 3-5/8″ on the clear guide ruler.
Grapefruit Grove Pop Up Panel: 2-3/4″ x 5-1/2″
Gingham DSP: 2-1/2″ x 5″ (so you can get the most out of the DSP but center it at the top)
Whisper White: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ for bunny and the two sentiments
Pear Pizzazz: 1″ x 4″ for lattice, 2″ square for Easter sentiment
