Here is a Clean and Simple Card I am sharing with Stamp Ink Paper # 64 this week.

Why do I consider this CAS? No stamping done at all! It is just punching and Big Shotting!

I wanted to do a Halloween card but did not have any of my Halloween stamps with me this week in Pittsburgh so I worked with what I had…I did use the retired Seasonal Framelits die SPOOKY because it is just so appropriate! The Thoughtful Branches stamp set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies are still around until supplies run out and then…it’s gone for good. I thought the Seaside embossing folder worked well to create a eerie feeling with the black tree that is inset on the Basic Gray embossed panel. The bat punch is a punch I have had forever…from Martha. And, of course, the clouds came from the Tree Builder punch.

I thought I would play around with Lisa’s Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge # 61 at Stamp Ink Paper.

I chose BIRD-TREE-BLUE straight through the middle.

I used the Stampin’ Up Thoughtful Branches Bundle that is available through August 31 while supplies last. So glad I go it! It is really versatile- definitely a lot of things you can do with it.

Notice how the branches can be seen through the foliage? I used the tree framelit and attached it to the tree stump image that was cut with the coordinating framelit. The fun little cloud comes from the SU Sprinkles of Life stamp set and the Tree Builder Punch. I even tried another version of the card (below) with the apples in the stamp set. I just love the grass and ground images in the set that can be used with other stamp sets I have:)
