SU Thoughtful Branches with Beautiful Branches Thinlits

I thought I would play around with Lisa’s Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge # 61 at Stamp Ink Paper.

I chose BIRD-TREE-BLUE straight through the middle.

I used the Stampin’ Up Thoughtful Branches Bundle that is available through August 31 while supplies last. So glad I go it! It is really versatile- definitely a lot of things you can do with it.

Notice how the branches can be seen through the foliage? I used the tree framelit and attached it to the tree stump image that was cut with the coordinating framelit. The fun little cloud comes from the SU Sprinkles of Life stamp set and the Tree Builder Punch. I even tried another version of the card (below) with the apples in the stamp set. I just love the grass and ground images in the set that can be used with other stamp sets I have:)

My color palette was Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Real Red, and Whisper White.

but I really love the variety of sizes in the White Perfect Accents, too.
To me, the white accents are a kind of “modern day” pearl accent that fits with a fun stamp set like the SU Sprinkles of Life, our Ronald McDonald Charity.

They add just a little pop of pizzazz!

SU A Beautiful Ride with Sunburst Thinlit Die

Rain or Shine?

Beautiful sunshine yesterday near Pittsburgh and non-stop rain today…Sandy’s challenge at The Paper Players #285 has a challenge that fits the weather wherever you are!

I used the super cool SU Sunburst Die to make this groovy card with the VW bug from the SU A Beautiful Ride stamp set. I just stamped it, fussy cut it, and put in a vellum window for some dimension/texture. I tried a window sheet for the window but kept getting glue smeared on it! A few black candy dots finish of the wheels. And those fun little clouds from the SU Sprinkles of Life stamp set are just perfect layered in the sky, what do you think?

Don’t forget that $3 from each Sprinkles of Life stamp set sold is donated to our national charity The Ronald McDonald House:)

SU Sprinkles of Life

I had the SU Sprinkles of Life stamp set on my desk and needed a little inspiration so I decided to check out Mojo Monday #409…
I am glad I did since there was a fun sketch by Julee Tilman!

The Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack is so fun and bright.

I love when a DSP has a bunch of colors in it so I can use each one! Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Pool Party, and even Tip Top Taupe made it on this card- will it end up a birthday card, a thank you, or a just because?
The sentiment leaves the decision wide open.
Oh, and I love those White Perfect Accents, don’t you?
