There are some great things happening with SU sales  but…

I wanted to show you some fun cards, too!

Here are a few my downline crew did with the Get Your Santa On stamp set this past month. My sweet upline Linda Heller inspired me as I prepared these cards for our meeting. I also had a ball creating these in my Product Class with Nancy, Karen, Tami, Deni, and Lisa the following week, too! I can’t download some of my pics and gave away my cards and the treat in a gift bag at my monthly Bunco meeting as a door prize but…

luckily Jodi McKinney is never without a camera- thanks Jodi for the great photos

of YOUR cards!  You da best!

Notice that cute little buckle popped up on the Santa Curvy Keepsakes Box filled with Ghirardelli Squares and peppermint candies?

It is the Petite Curly Label punch on the Weekly Deals!

Off to get some last minute groceries for dinner… my kids are home for the holidays and think I should be cooking dinner?!?!

SU Get Your Santa On

I had a terrific Saturday spent with some super ladies galavanting around Christmas in the Woods in Ohio. The day ended with stamping and dinner at a quaint little restaurant- all thanks to a unique destination class planned by my long time friend and now SU family member, Stacey Ailes. It was really fun to be your student, Stacey. You are an awesome teacher!

I only wish I could have captured the day even a tiny bit as wonderfully as my friend , Jodi McKinney did on her blog post HERE. Jodi is an uber talented stamper, blogger, and photographer (& SU family member- lucky me!) You must check out the unbelievable photos she captured with some fantastic girls that I had the pleasure of hanging out with for a whole day! Thank you, Stacey Ailes, for sharing your talent with a superb destination class, and thank you, Jodi, for memory keeping it! ….and a special thanks to my sweet Stephanie for chauffeuring Nancy and I:)

Although Saturday was a long day, I still wanted to play around in my craft room on Sunday afternoon. I got out the whimsical SU Get Your Santa On stamp set, and thought I would use the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #158 that I looked at a few days ago.

I finished the card, snapped a few pics, and packed a bag to head up to camp with the hubby for a day or two. As I was uploading the photo to my computer last night, I noticed my mind had not fully remembered the sketch- I am a little bit off but I was certainly inspired by it. I put a strip of DSP from the Trim the Tree Paper Stack to the left side with a border separating the right panel with Mr. Claus on it.

When I first saw this set, I was not sure if this was a stamp I would get but now, I adore it! I don’t have any Santa stamps so I am really glad I added this to my collection:)

Look at all the cute images and sentiments in the set:

The J-O-Y banner was meant to be held in Santa’s hands, don’t you think? I decided to cut out the letters with the Itty Bitty Accents Star punch and string it across his round belly up into his cute little mittens.

Of course, coloring the lined image with Blendabilities was easy peasy.

I made a set of fun Santa cards…I can’t wait to share the rest of them with you!
