Okay, so here’s the story…I am unexpectedly visiting a family member who needed me in another state. Upon leaving, I threw a few stamping items in my carry-on so I could keep myself busy in the downtime. Well, I forgot my clear blocks so I improvised with the C plate from my Cuttlebug to stamp my Happy Birthday stamp. Of course, I did not have my usual library of stamps to do a challenge so I stopped into the two national craft stores around and literally could not find but ONE item connected with music for Dynamic Duos # 33 –black and gold!! I used a 40% off coupon on this musical score stamp (3.50) that I really didn’t think I liked and picked up two .75 rolls of black and gold ribbon . I headed home and thought what can I do with these things? While perusing my usual challenge sites, I saw retro sketches # 42. I created my own DSP by stamping on SU Very Vanilla paper with the musical image, bordered the image with the gold ribbon, made a bow with black ribbon, and tied on a loose gold button and the rest is history….In the end, I was happy with the results and fell in love with the musical score stamp;)
