SU Spring Catalog 2013

SU Pop Up Posies

I finally opened up my SU Pop Up Posies kit and my package of SU Doilies from the Spring 2013 catalog . The kit is really cute, and has all the colors Fab Friday # 16 asks for this week- did they know that? I added a little texture to the flowers and put the gorgeous button brad (that comes in the kit) in the middle. You could really do a lot with the elements but I just put together a simple card:

SU Perfect Punches with Primrose Petals

Dynamic Duos # 46 gave us a choice of color to pair with SU Primrose Petals. I chose to use SU Raspberry Ripple. SU Print Poetry Paper Pack features Primrose Petals so I put a background of pretty flowers surrounding a simple Happy Birthday wish. I had some fibers that were a perfect match to Primrose Petals so I used them to give some texture to the card. I cut out from the DSP the focal point of the sentiment with the SU Extra Large Oval Punch and used dimensionals to place the sentiment underneath the DSP to add some depth as well. I imagined some more accents but I am in a simple kind of mood today so I kept it clean;)

SU Just Thinking (of Mother’s Day)

First, I would like to say Hi to Sandy, one of my friends and Stamp Campers! I said if I did not get a challenge card done tonight  after Camp that one of our Stamp Camp cards is going on my blog. So, here we go with one of the cards we did tonight for Mother’s Day. I used the  Spring Catalog 2013  Just Thinking stamp as a background border to frame the sentiment (retired but so pretty). We also used a lot of Spring Catalog items like the Tea for Two DSP, the Flower Trim, the Needlepoint Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and the Honeycomb embossing folder. I especially loved “dyeing” the flower trim with an ink pad that is so easy to do and adds just the right touch. We have so much fun at Stamp Camp each month creating, chatting, laughing, and snacking! I just love hanging out with my stamping girls!!!
