SU Tea Party

SU Tea Party Ensemble

July 12, 2015

Over the weekend, I pulled out my retired SU Tea Party stamp set to take a look at the images as I started to plan for a fun ladies tea party my dazzling girlfriend puts on each year. Then I remembered a project I created for the Paper Crafters Sampler a year ago that I am allowed to share online now.

Can you guess what is in the little favor in the middle?

Everything I used is still available- the Hexagon Hive embossing folder, the doilies, and the burlap ribbon- only the stamp set and the chevron ribbon is retired but you may still  have it in your stash…well, I hope this inspires you to get it out and have a tea party!

SU Tea Party

Sara has a fun sketch for us this week at the Friday Mashup #145.

1. Create a project with “Sketch.”
2. Create a project using some “Sponging”.
3. Or Mash it Up and create a project with “Sponging using the Sketch.”

I pulled out my SU Tea Party stamp set to create this soft and feminine card. I sponged my lattice background but it looked sooooo baaaaad so I just went clean and thought the sponging on the DSP would suffice for now! But check out what the Design Team has sponged up for this challenge- ah-mazing! I know you will love working with the sketch and adding some sponging to mash it up. We can’t wait to see what you come up with for this challenge…go on, get your stamp on….
