SU Toxic Treats

SU Toxic Treats Treat Cup

I just love the SU Treat Cups- what a fun way to send a little treat to someone. I used the Cue Word at CASology # 66 this week to make my treat cup a PUMPKIN!

These little cups are inexpensive and have limitless possibilities. Have you used them yet? If you have, what have you done with them? I would love to have more ideas!

SU Happy Hour Toxic Treats for The Friday MashUp

Amanda has a SPOOKY Sketch for us this week at the Friday Mashup # 131. You have to go check out what the Design Team has conjured up for this challenge.

I pulled out some retired Halloween DSP and used a spooky spider theme. I did not have any spider punches and at first put a bat on the circle but did not really like it. So while I was out running errands… I stopped in a craft store looking for a lil ol’ spider to adorn my card. Ha! I found a bunch in a pack (with a 50% off coupon) and popped one on my card. They are so cool- all furry and sparkly- not cheap plastic. I could not resist putting them on the wall behind my card. I am just waiting for my hubby to jump when he walks past the shelf on the way to his Man Cave…

SU Toxic Treats Hershey Bar Slider

Nance at The Paper Players # 166  has a Halloween treat/card challenge this week. I pulled up the good old Hershey Bar slider for my entry. Funny story…I had in my mind to make this but could not remember the dimensions when I made one last Christmas. I ran up to the pantry to find that one Hershey bar I saw  earlier in the week but could not find it. I asked my 26 year old son who is with us again after law school- Yea! We found out last week that he passed the Florida Bar Exam!! Anyway, he is on a health kick eating fish and veggies every day. Well, I proceeded to ask him if he ate my Hershey bar. He said, “Well, yeah…sorry…you should have known better to leave chocolate around me! You know you can buy another one, Mom.” I said, I just needed the measurements- maybe the wrapper is still in the garbage can? He walked over into the family room and bent down by the coffee table and said, “Ummm, I kinda just put it under the coffee table by accident.” Seriously, son? At least I now I had the wrapper to make my holder and got my chocolate bar the next day!

I got some inspiration from a tic tac holder UK Demonstrator Sarah Jane Rae posted. I sponged my circle (it doesn’t show up very well in the middle photo) and popped it up with SU Stampin” Dimensionals :
