Isn’t Deanna Jean’s work for MUSE Card Club #6 just amazing?
Well, that’s a rhetorical question- of course, it is!!
I was inspired by her card to use a considerable amount of white (vanilla) space with a border around the sentiment. I was definitely a chicken and would not attempt to doodle on the border so I opted for paper piercing- and a thank you to SU for providing the perfect tool for precision piercing;) I also did a mimic of the flowers but with Christmas ornaments adorned with some pearls.
Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Ornament Keepsakes, SU More Merry Messages
INK: SU Elegant Eggplant, SU More Mustard, SU Gumball Green
PAPER: SU Very Vanilla
ACCESSORIES: SU Very Vanilla Ribbon, SU Pearls
TOOLS: SU Holiday Ornaments Framelits, SU Essential Paper Piercing Pack, SU Stampin’ Dimensionals
LOVE your CAS design – especially the paper piercing instead of the doodling….fabulous idea!
How clever of you to use your Christmas ornament stamps in place of flowers! Love it! And I like the paper piercing you did!
Thank you, Colleen. I think I might do a few more of this design for Christmas this year:)
Amazing card! I so love that you made this a Christmas card. I hope you don’t mind me CASEing it? I love it. Pinning.
Thanks, Kristie. So glad you liked it and CASE away…we are all here to pass along our ideas!
What a fabulous take on the Muse’s card! I love that you used ornaments and that you pierced the frame! So clever! 🙂

Thank You, Lauren. I am actually keeping to my little (loose) promise to make a few Christmas cards throughout the year- tally one more done;)
Love the arrangement of ornaments! Pretty colors too!
Thanks, Bonnie. There are so many ornaments to pick from in that set! It was funny how SU Gumball Green seems to fit in there.
Cute! This layout works well with ornaments, and I love the pierced frame.
Thank You, Tanis. I was so nervous piercing thinking it would go crooked but it worked out in the end after two tries!
Oh this is so pretty!! I love it that you chose to do a Christmas card for the Muse Challenge! Love the pierced border too!
Thank You, Kay. I wanted flowers but my mind couldn’t get going with it, and I looked at an ornament hanging in the stamp center and thought….hmmmm
