Casology #60 Cue Word this week is Apple. I just adore the apples in the retired SU Perfectly Preserved set. I guess it all comes down to sales in the mini-catalogs (well, we all know that, huh?) Anyhow, the set did not make it in the new Annual Catalog. It puzzles me because it is sooo cute and has framelits to boot!! I got out the apple thinking I would just do a singular little apple as a main focal point in keeping with Casology’s reason for existing- Clean and Simple- but somehow I got carried away and ended up with an orchard… (at least I was inspired by the apple though!)

I really like how fresh & clean this card is! I wish I had gotten this set when it was available.
Thanks, Crafty Math Chick! The set is so classic with the jar that I love!
I love this stamp set and you have used it perfectly. Thank you so much for joining us this week at CASology
Thanks, Gillian. I had fun stamping those apples!
Well, you’ve just proved the decision-makers at SU! completely wrong! Your orchard is adorable – I love that it has a green stem and black seeds! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
Thank you, Ardyth. I thought long and hard about those seeds…should I attempt coloring them and mess it up at the last minute? In the end, only one seed is a little wonky but every seed is different, right?
Great card, Cindy. Yes, it puzzles me why they didn’t carry this over. It’s one I like also. So cute with the matching framelits.
Thanks, Bernadette. It just reminds me of my mom who just canned a slew of tomatoes for me!
