I warned you that there would be some more SU Backyard Basics coming up…I used the flower and the sweet little bird this time. I am really taken with the style of this stamp set- so artistically natural. I used my SU Write Markers straight up with this- no blender pen. Since the colors were light and I used a light touch when coloring, it turned out well without a blender pen. I used Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe for the flower and So Saffron and Daffodil Delight for the bird. The leaves were done in Pear Pizzazz.
I used the challenge for a spring thank you card over at The Paper Players # 185 this week.
Card Recipe:

I was inspired by this beautiful card I saw created by Debbie Henderson that used an embossed open oval behind the flowers/bird.
It’s Tuesday…and here are the Weekly Deals good until Monday, March 10
Makes me wish I had put some Crisp Cantaloupe Ruffled Trim around my oval!
Fabulous! I love this!
