SU Flower Shop with Petite Petals Flower Pot Card

At first, I was really wondering how to incorporate ALL of the colors Avery picked for our shaped card challenge at the Friday Mashup #155 this week.

Create a project using the Colors ” Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder & Wild Wasabi”.

Create a ” Shaped card”.

Or Mash it up and create a “Shaped Card using the above Colors”.

After a few days of pondering, I thought of a flower pot card. I had not made one since my daughter’s 15th birthday, and she is 21 now and getting ready to graduate college in one month! With my craft hoarding tendencies, I actually found the card and got to work on a new one with the fabulous SU Flower Shop and Petite Petals with their coordinating punches. I used the Bird Builder Punch for the leaves.

  1. i, too, made this card several years ago at stamp club. What fun to redo the card using the newer Stampin’ Up products! Very pretty! You’ve inspired me to search for my original card, too, and do a remake!

    1. Sounds fun, Pat. I always loved how neat flower pot cards were and my first one years ago used an awkward flower die that was not nearly as fun as this one! I bet the Mixed Bunch and Secret Garden would be great sets to use to with the punches and framelits to make cutting easy!! Thansk for stopping by:)

  2. Oh my gosh Cindy! I was so happy with myself for being able to squeeze out a circle card and then I see your detailed beauty of a card and went “WOW” Love the flowers, the scallop details on the flower pot, the way you incorporated the colors….fantastic job!
