It’s Friday! This week went by super fast but I think summer months just fly by, don’t you? Or maybe it was all the stamping I did this week and the Stampin’ Up convention coming up next week! I did get my card done for Lisa’s Friday Mashup # 168 summer themed color challenge so I am happy.
I finally pulled out my Flower Patch Photopolymer stamp set with its coordinating framelits. I only scratched the surface with three of the stamps in this set, too. I also tried my hand at the new “thread/twine” trend I have been viewing online. It gave a little boost to my card. I am looking forward to adding some more of this design embellishment on future projects but this was my first attempt, and we all need to start somewhere! I added a teensy bit of elegance with the rustic twine by scattering some pearls on the card.

This is beautiful Cindy! I think the bold stripes really help the flowers and leaves pop, such a great combo! Gorgeous card!
Oh wow this is so pretty! I totally regret not having this set yet!! I love those gorgeous blooms on the diagonal paper – so striking. Great card, Cindy 🙂
