One of the fun things that happens on a Design Team is the chatter on our private blog about what we have up our sleeves for everyone. At one point, we had “watermelon” in this challenge, and I designed a fun little bookmark for some summer reading. In the end, the colors and the wood element were finalized but my little quickie project still qualified for a Mash Up this week!

I went with the idea after I had made some favors for my stamping gals who attended class this week. Here is a peek at the SU Polka Dot Pieces bookmarks I made for my stampers who are so special to me:)

  1. OH MY!!!!!! You outdid yourself on this bookmark! I am so impressed! You are too clever! This is a fantastic idea! I love them both, but the watermelon is my favorite! GREAT idea, My Friend! XX

  2. Oh I love this! I love to read and really need something to mark my place (I’m one of those fold the corner of the page over people). This is so fun and festive!
