Happidy-doo-dah, friends….it’s Friday and time for another MASH UP challenge.
This week Lynda has a color and element challenge for us for the Friday Mashup # 172.
- Create a project with ” Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black & Whisper White”.
- Create a project with a “Wood Element”.
- or Mash it Up! and create a ” Project using the colors above & a Wood element”.
One of the fun things that happens on a Design Team is the chatter on our private blog about what we have up our sleeves for everyone. At one point, we had “watermelon” in this challenge, and I designed a fun little bookmark for some summer reading. In the end, the colors and the wood element were finalized but my little quickie project still qualified for a Mash Up this week!
I went with the idea after I had made some favors for my stamping gals who attended class this week. Here is a peek at the SU Polka Dot Pieces bookmarks I made for my stampers who are so special to me:)
Card Recipe for the Watermelon Bookmark:
STAMPS: SU Kind and Cozy
INK: SU Wild Wasabi
PAPER: SU Basic Black, SU Whisper White, SU Melon Mambo Pattern Stack
ACCESSORIES: SU Wild Wasabi Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Random wooden button
TOOLS: SU What’s Up Punch with Computer Generated sentiment inside it, SU Starburst Framelits
Can’t wait to see your creations this week…join in on the fun at the Friday Mashup #172.
