Stampin’ Up Peaceful Boughs

September 28, 2019

I pulled out my new Stampin’ Up Peaceful Boughs Bundle this weekend.
I had a thought in my head of the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper but…
I think this pattern was too busy…but here goes it anyway…
I had to post it after I went to the trouble tying that little bow!!!

I love how detailed the pinecones are and how easy they were to die cut.
I think the buffalo check pattern in the Toile  Tidings Paper would look better as a background- maybe I will change it.

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

Another snowman inside continues the cuteness…

Stampin’ Up Lots of Cheer with Stitched Rectangles Frame

September 16, 2019

Rustic some red and green with Mr. Snowman from the Stampin’ Up Lots of Cheer stamp set.
You can find this stamp set in the Annual Catalog:)

I created a stitched frame to show off Mr. Snowman using my SU Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Here is a pic to show you how to cut it after you tape the two rectangles together:

My Very Vanilla border around the Mossy Meadow stitched frame is 3-3/4″ x 4-5/8″ .
I trimmed down my card base to 4-1/4″ x 5-3/8″ to make it more visually appealing:)

Those cute snowflakes came from the Frosted Frames Dies.

Stampin’ Up Toile Christmas Bundle

September 13, 2019

Have you seen the cardinal from the Stampin’ Up Toile Christmas stamp set
on page 3 of the Holiday Catalog?

I noticed that it was colored with Watercolor Pencils so I added some to my image. I stamped my cardinal in Cherry Cobbler ink on Real Red Cardstock. Then I colored the breast/belly with some Pumpkin Pie and white colored pencils.  I colored the beak with Daffodil Delight colored pencil. It added just a little something to pep up the image. I plan to play around some more with this beautiful bird…

Thanks for stopping by, friends…

*I used the retired Hardwood Background stamp as my backdrop for the cardinal.
I also used a Real Red Stampin’ Blend on the berries:)
