Stampin’ Up Snow Front

September 9, 2019

I pretended I was a watercolor artist over the weekend…
this is what the Stampin’ Up Snow Front stamp set helped me do:

I can’t wait to play around some more with this set…
look at all the great “clear” photopolymer stamps to design your own masterpiece:

At first, I was bummed I did not use my Stamparatus to stamp the  Buffalo Check Background and it was not perfect but then thought nothing is more comfy than a well worn flannel shirt! The sentiment comes from the  SU Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set. There is also a sentiment in the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set that is the same words!

I easily cut down my sentiment stitched rectangle by cutting it out with the die and then placing the die right where I wanted it to be sized. You can customize the die cut to any size you want by sliding the die over the stitches that just sink down into the die cut. I use a post it to hold it in place when I die cut to be safe:) Think of all the possible sizes you can make!!

Mountains: Crumb Cake
Cabin and Deer: Soft Suede
Pond: Balmy Blue
Trees: Garden Green

Stampin’ Up Free Skate in Blue

September 6, 2019

I just love how clean, cool, and fresh this card turned out.
The Stampin’ Up Free Skate Bundle made it super easy to make this beautiful card.
I mean, it’s Stampin’ Up that makes it easy for me to be an artist!

The soft textured background was made with the NEW Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder. You know I die cut the blue laces from the blue under the embossed panel. The silver snowflakes were die cut with the NEW Frosted Frames Dies. Aren’t the silver blades so cool?

Just a simple stamping of a sentiment and some snowflakes on the inside.
The Timeless Label Punch is the perfect size for the sentiments on the inside or outside.
I think they are interchangeable- I made another card with them switched:)

Stampin’ Up Christmas Gleaming Bundle Sneak Peek

August 23, 2019

I got to play with my Christmas Gleaming Bundle with a Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack today!

More gorgeous metallic accents in the in the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper coming in the Holiday Catalog on Sept. 4th – this time it’s COPPER!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp my Deck the Halls in a straight and centered row:)

I did pull out one of my favorite retired Stampin’ Up Pine Boughs Embossing Folder.
I think it gave a great texture element to the CAS card.

I carried over the copper metallic element into the inside by stamping the holly image and sentiment with the Delicata Celestial Copper Ink Pad.
I must say, this ink stamped so beautifully and a photo does not do it justice! I was sure to let it dry for about 8-10 minutes so it would not smudge. I bet a quick heat set will be great, too.

Stampin’ Up Ready for Christmas

December 9, 2018

So, this past week, one of my friends, Angela, asked me where to find a card on my blog.
She wanted to refer a friend to a card that we made using the SU Ready for Christmas Bundle.
I got onto my computer, and indeed I did not post it! However, the funniest thing is…I actually had added it to the line up of displays this month
at class just to remind everyone at class that it is still in the Annual Catalog. So, Angela was able to see it and share it.

I perused Pinterest to find who I cased it from…because it was so darn neat!
I found it was Joanne Cantrell:

This is the one we created for a Product Class using the SU Ready for Christmas last year.
You can use any small patterned DSP to be the wallpaper!

A simple folding back of half of the card front at 2-3/4″ makes this fun fold.

A message can be written on the middle panel that is left unstamped. I should have put a little sentiment there:)

I forgot how cool this bundle is…those puppies and presents…what a great set that is in the Annual Catalog!
