SU Something for Baby

Lisa LOVES animals so her challenge for us at the Friday MashUp # 175

this week has an animal theme.

She  is also shaking it up with a Shaker Card MashUp challenge.

or
Mash it up! and create a “Shaker Card with an Animal.”

I did have a fun time coming up with this card and mashing it up. It is so bright in person but I had  some trouble getting a good photo of it. Oh what fun it was pulling out the Coastal Cabana sequins from the container and three of those little buggers got caught on my sticky stuff and no way to get them loose! Hahaha!

SU Something for Baby

I was definitely in need of a baby stamp set so I got the new SU Something for Baby, and oh my- I can’t believe how cute it is with its coordinating framelits.

I thought the colors at Colour Q # 244 this week for perfect for a boy card so I created one with  Retrosketches # 117.

SU Zoo Babies and Weekly Deals

I have not made a baby card for awhile. When I saw the colors for Pals Paper Arts #190 this week, I thought the time had come to use my SU Zoo Babies. The gray just said “elephant” to me so I went  from there…

SU Word Play Mother’s Day Candle Gift

You have already seen the card I made for my wonderfully awesome mom last month but…here’s a little gift to go with the card. We made these at Stamp Class as a gift for a mother or a friend…or for yourself as some gals said they were keeping it!! I used the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper and used coordinating colors to embellish a sweet blue candle. One friend said she was going to use this idea for shower favors…

Guest Designer for CASology Challenge # 41 GIGGLE using SU So Many Scallops

Hello, everyone! I was so excited when I was asked to be the Guest Designer for  Week # 41 at CASology– a favorite site of mine;) Stop over to see what the amazing Design Team has created and play along.

Week 41 - GIGGLE

When I was given the cue word: GIGGLE, I immediately thought of  babies. Off  I went to search out my extremely limited baby stamp collection which consists of only single pieces out of  a few occasion stamp sets. Imagine how happy I was when I saw that SU So Many Scallops actually had the word GIGGLE on the baby stamp!  So, I went with it:

SU So Many Scallops 2

I had fun embellishing the card but still kept  it clean and simple with a main focal image surrounded by an abundant amount of white space. I layered a scalloped circle of pink CS  under the image- I think it adds a little something to the card;)
