Stampin’ Up Cup of Christmas Gift Card Holder Video Tutorial

August 21, 2019

Oh my, a GREAT new Christmas Bundle coming out on September 4
called Cup of Christmas….LOVE IT!

I used mostly the Cup of Cheer Dies on this quick and easy gift card holder.
Here is a video showing how easy it is to make the holder.

I am totally over the top in love with the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper-
beautiful threads of GOLD accents on each 6″ x 6″ piece!
The rich colors of Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Shade Spruce are perfect with the gold.

A simple sentiment that is perfect for a Starbucks card:)

Shaded Spruce Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 10-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″, 5-1/4″, and 6-1/4″, scraps for bow and sprigs

A Gift from a friend and Weekly Deals

December 1, 2015

Yesterday, I left Orlando at 5 am to return to my sweet, sweet peeps for classes in Pittsburgh this week. After a long drive that ended at 10:30 pm, I saw some packages that had arrived. Can you imagine how excited I was when I opened a priority mail box sent from my friend, Terreena, who lives in Germany? It was so sweet to see how she expected me to get it just before my classes- exhausted from the drive, my heart just melted and a huge smile spread across my weary face.

Sweet T Gift Trio

I just could not wait to share this beautiful present this morning with you all. I just love the designer paper she she used- just for me- CindyBEE. The design and layout along with the exquisite crafting is just beautiful. The gift bag was just so sweet!

The photo captures how pretty it is but in person it is even more stunning. Thank you, Terreena.

Big Beary Hugs to you!

SU Festival of Trees for FM

I am excited to be the hostess this week at the Friday Mashup #181.

I have to admit, I have  an ulterior motive…

I am asking for ideas for my holiday gift tagging needs (wink, wink.)

I can’t wait to see what you crafty ones will share with everyone at the Friday Mashup!

Here’s your Mashup Challenge:

Create a “Tag for a Bottle, Box or Bag.”
Create a project with “Bling.”
or Mash it Up! and create a “Tag with Bling.”

Project Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Festival of Trees
INK: SU Pear Pizzazz, SU Lost Lagoon
PAPER: SU Glimmer Paper (last year’s) SU Pear Pizzazz, SU Lost Lagoon, SU Whisper White
ACCESSORIES: SU Glimmer Brad, SU 1/8″ Silver Ribbon
TOOLS: SU Bitty Banner Framelits, SU Tree Punch, SU Oval Framelits, SU 1 1/4″, 1 1/2″, 1 3/4″ circle punches, SU Banner Framelits

Be sure to check out what the creative Design Team has to share this week as inspiration.

Some basic directions for making this tag:

I used the largest Banner die on the Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I cut two of them and then cut off the pennant ends off of one by lining the straight end at 3 3/4″  on my trimmer. After it was cut, I scored it at 3″ and folded it over and attached to the other full cut banner. I used the smallest banner die for the little tail in the middle.

The initial hole on the tag for hanging is 1 3/8″. Then I punched out of Lost Lagoon cardstock a 1 3/8″ circle with enough room around it to punch a 1 3/4″ circle that left a thin donut to border around the hole punched on the tag. I made another Glimmer donut the same way using the 1 3/4″ punch and the 2″ punch and put that glimmer border around the Lost Lagoon one.

You can adapt the tag with any stamp set you have and put it on

vinegars/oils, lotion, bubble bath, room deodorizer, coffee syrups- any thing you hang something off of!

Send me a pic if you create a tag with this template- hey, do one for this challenge!

SU Perfect Blend with Tag It

Amy at the Friday MashUp # 125 has a fun challenge this week- A-B-C, 1-2-3. The guidelines ask participants to use elements in the project beginning with A-B-C and use 1 embellishment, 2 stamp sets, and 3 colors. I was making favors for my upcoming  SU Perfect Blend class this Wednesday and they  fit in with the challenge perfectly.

Coffee Favors

It has been hard not to post this once I was done with the favors on Saturday morning… but I had to wait to post this until the last minute so I could surprise at least of few of my stamper gals tonight!

SU Perfect Blend Sour Cream Container

B- Espresso BEANS

Espresso Beans

1- EMBELLISHMENT-Naturals Trim Ribbon

2- STAMP SET- SU Perfect Blend, SU Oh, Goodie

3- SU COLORS: Soft Suede, River Rock, Early Espresso

Sour Cream containers are soooooo easy to make to hold little gifts or treats. Start with  a 4 1/4 inch  by 5 1/2 inch piece of Designer Paper- it seems to be easier to work with than heavier card stock.

Put sticky strip on two of the longer sides and one of the shorter sides.

Roll the shorter side with the sticky strip removed over the other shorter side to create a tube.

Remove one of the sticky strips from one of the longer sides and pinch together.Try to make the seam offset from the middle.

Now you can  put in your treat or gift.

Remove the sticky strip from the other longer side and pinch it together in the opposite direction of the other side.

SU Perfect Blend Coffee Tag

Crimp the ends and add any kind of  tag with a sentiment and … Tada- instant cute little container you can customize for a treat like Candy Corn or a little gift like jewelry!
