Stampin’ Up Vertical Greetings- So Simple!

March 8, 2019

Happy Friday, friends! Hoping you all have a great weekend ahead…

I have had the Stampin’ Up Vertical Greetings forever…
and just inked it up! Maybe I was waiting for the Stamparatus?
Let me tell you,  it made stamping the topiaries in a straight line so easy with the Hinge Stamping Technique!

I just lined up the topiary on the horizontal and hinge stamped three of them and then flipped my card upright.
Actually, I could have done it vertically (as the stamp name says, lol)  and just pulled the acrylic plate from the top, too!
I also had the sentiment lined up on another plate so it was straight when it stamped on the panel:)

You can choose from three different potted plants and 6 versatile sentiments in the set…so fun!

Stampin’ Up Tea Together with Tea Time Framelits

February 15, 2019

Time to relax with some tea after an emotional day.  I am at my bestie’s house in my hometown, what a comforting place to be after my grandfather’s funeral today. And what a celebration of his life it was…complete with a 21 gun salute outside to honor his service in WW II.
The sermon fit perfectly- “The Measure of a Man”. The minister’s points reflected how the measurement of a man is seen in those he touched.

So, as I sit in refection, waiting for the teapot to whistle
(yes, she always uses a teapot with a whistler while I do my boring hot water machine) …
I thought I would show you a card I made using the Stampin’ Up Tea Together Stamp Set with the Sale-a-Bration Tea Time Framelits.

Oh, how I love that Lace Embossing Folder. I actually used the debossed side of the folder.
I love that both sides are equally stunning!

You can get the Tea Time Framelits FREE with a $100 purchase during Sale-a-Bration.

Stampin’ Up Forever Lovely Gift Ensemble Video Tutorial

February 5, 2019

I have a treat for you today that you can treat someone with for Valentine’s Day, a Birthday, or a Just Because…

And here is a video to show you how to make the trio of projects!

Please note: Use a strong adhesive when adhering the sides of the bag together and with the trim around the top that goes over the handles.
I found my Snail did not adhere it strong enough after my video was done!!

The gift is a pizza box filled with a treat:

I filled this one with an EOS hand lotion.

I made a bag in a box to hold the pizza box with the gift.

A matching card slips into the bag easily.

Actually, the bag in a box is perfect for gifting a set of cards.
You can tuck at least 3 cards with envelopes, maybe even five, in a landscape position perfectly.
