SU Secret Garden

Hey Everyone!! It’s been a busy last few days in Utah at the Stampin’ Up Convention! Having a ball meeting up with old friends and meeting new ones- the stamping community is just so fun! I will be posting some fun stuff in the next few days. But I wanted to share this cute little treat with all of you wonderful subscribers to my blog. You all make my day when You leave a comment or jump on board… blessings to you all:)

Remember those fun little colorful circles I used last week with the SU Oh, Hello set? Well, here are the favors I mentioned in my post. I made these for my wonderful stamping crew with SU Mixed Bunch.

Card Recipe:
STAMPS: SU Mixed Bunch, SU Bloomin’ Marvelous
INK: SU Bermuda Bay, SU Daffodil Delight, SU Melon Mambo
PAPER: SU Whisper White
TOOLS: SU 1 in. Circle Punch, SU Secret Garden Framelits, SU 3/4 in. punch, SU Bitty Butterfly punch

* I used Rite-Aid brand peanut butter cups that had a solid gold covering without a brand name stamped on them like a Reese’s has- I actually liked them much better than a Reese’s- they tasted more like a peanut butter melt-a-way! Rolos would be perfect too…just find a circle punch that fits a candy you have!

I used my first piece of DSP from the new SU catalog today! Do you ever find yourself reluctant to cut into DSP because it is so pretty? I really like a lot of the prints in the Gingham Garden especially the Island Indigo. I paired it up with the SU Secret Garden stamp set and a sentiment from Simply Sketched (again, love it!). I used The Paper Players # 151 sketch to lay out the card. Hope you enjoy the deep, bright colors;)
