SU Secret Garden and SU Simply Sketched

I used my first piece of DSP from the new  SU catalog today! Do you ever find yourself  reluctant to cut into DSP  because it is so pretty?  I really like a lot of the prints in the Gingham Garden especially the Island Indigo. I paired it up with the SU Secret Garden stamp set and a sentiment from Simply Sketched (again, love it!). I used The Paper Players # 151 sketch to lay out the card. Hope you enjoy the deep, bright colors;)

  1. Cindy, This card is stunning. Such a clean and classy interpretation of the sketch. Truly beautiful. Thanks for playing along with The Paper Players this week.

  2. I chuckled at your comment about being reluctant to cut into a piece of DSP, Cindy. I do the same thing. I have to be REALLY sure it is going to work on a project before I bring it to the paper trimmer. Haha! I just love how the gingham background really adds the perfect pop to your card. The pearl detail on the flowers is gorgeous, too. Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! 🙂

    1. Thank you, Anne Marie. I am a little more at ease with my off-brand papers but my luxurious SU DSP is so special because it coordinates so beautifully!
