Caution: This post may cause you to go on a hunt for chocolate…

to using it for Valentine’s Day. So better late than never…
and here’s a video I made to show you how simple it is to make this Corner Flip Card!
*NOTE: The first cut on the video is from 2-1/2″ down to 4-7/8. The second cut is from 3″ up to 5/8″ (I said 3″ to 4-7/8″ one time…oops!)
Don’t be fooled that this set is only for Valentine’s Day…look at the sentiments for get well and encouragement, too.
What about that little *NOT FOR ACTUAL CONSUMPTION image…lol.

It will be Valentine’s Day before you know- one of the biggest card giving days! My mom is going to love this card…although she loves roosters the SU This Little Piggy stamp set is just too cute not to use with the SU Barn Door stamp set! Maybe I will use the rooster from SU Wood Words on her Barn Door birthday card…
I love the sliding mechanism made with the Sliding Door Framelits-
so easy to do! You put one message on the left side…
and slide it over to reveal another message on the right side.
I rounded the corners on the 2-1/2″ x 4″ Whisper White cardstock where I stamped the piggy.
I used Pool Party ink on the bow on the wreath because it was a bit darker than Soft Sky ink.
Don’t let this cute stamp set get away! I think the SU Perfect Mix was the first set in the Occasions catalog that I just had to have…it is just so clean and cute…however, it took me until Retirement month to play with it in class with my awesome stamping group!!!
It is a “perfect” stamp set for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or a just because card for a friend.
My girls chose their image and sentiment, cut the scallop borders from the black cardstock under the DSP, and covered up the holes with the DSP. They wrapped three different pieces of 6″ black baker’s twine around the front panel and adhered it to the Whisper White card base. Cute images/sentiments were stamped in black and accented with coloring with the Watercolor pencils. Of course, the images were die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. It was a quick and simple card after making this card and this card that had a bit of die cutting and stamping involved…heeheehee.
I am having so much fun with the new stamps, framelits, and accessories in the
NEW Occasions catalog coming out on January 4th.
*Local Gals- Product class with this bundle in February!
The SU Lift Me Up Bundle covers a lot of occasions-
Birthday, Congratulations, Wedding, Valentine, Get Well, and Thanks!
Did you notice the front only has one stamped image- the sentiment. The rest of the card front is made with the framelits- I added some pink clouds around the white clouds so they would stand out against the white background. And…I stamped the inside:)
Take a look-see at the stamp set with its coordinating framelits below.
