and you are put into a drawing for a Stampin’ Up Goodie from me!

Now for my card and video today!!

Oh, I had fun making this card! Who is not excited when they see a gumball machine?

I used the Stampin’ Up Snow Globe Scenes Dies in an alternative way…to use all year long!

How did I make it? Take a look at my video…

Dang…I forgot to show you the how to make the top of the gumball machine!
Why did I do that?
Because AFTER I made the card and video, I saw that I needed a top on it!
Why didn’t I notice that before the video?!? I think it really adds to the card:)
Here is how I made it with the Timeless Tag punch cut on the bottom with the snow globe die.

I am sorry that my gumball machine is topless in this photo…scandalous.

Measurements:
Card Base: 4-1/8″ x 11 scored at 5-1/2″ Inside Whisper White: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/4″
Black and White panel: 3 each of 1″ x 5″ Strips taped together and then die cut with the Largest Stitched Rectangle Die
3″ x 3″ Whisper White for inside of globe

Scraps of colored cardstock for gumballs, scraps of Silver Foil or Glimmer for on bases

Stampin’ Up HOME Decor Frame Video Tutorial

September 18, 2019

I finally made one! I have been seeing these HOME decor frames all over Pinterest for years!
I wanted a fun activity to do with my stamping girls, and this is what we did last weekend!

We die cut H-M-E out of Basic Black cardstock and adhered it to black fun foam letters cut out with the retired Large Letters Dies.
We then adhered them in a shadow box frame over a  5″ x 7″ Crumb Cake panel embossed with the Pinewood Planks Folder.

These would be so fun to do with a craft class or make at a Girl’s Night Out or In!
They also make wonderful gifts especially for the crafty friends in your life!

We traveled through 12 stations making a “O” for each month of the year. The oval is 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ with the next size up scallop.

As you can see in the white frame, we made a cat oval for October as well as the oval with leaves.
The possibilities are endless with all the stamps and dies we have!

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

Oh my, a GREAT new Christmas Bundle coming out on September 4
called Cup of Christmas….LOVE IT!

I used mostly the Cup of Cheer Dies on this quick and easy gift card holder.
Here is a video showing how easy it is to make the holder.

I am totally over the top in love with the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper-

The rich colors of Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Shade Spruce are perfect with the gold.

A simple sentiment that is perfect for a Starbucks card:)

Stampin’ Up Hand Lettered Prose Dies in a Frame

July 5, 2019

It may seem simple but…it did take a little time!

Ever since the catalog came out, I have been itching to make a frame using
the Stampin’ Up Hand Lettered Prose Dies.

I finally did it!!

My suggestion is to cut all your Rococo Rose letters, then your Pear Pizzazz letters, then your Pool Party letters, and then your So Saffron letters. The opening on this frame from Ikea is 5″ x 7″ just like in the catalog sample. I drew a pencil outline on my black cardstock of the opening. I arranged the letters so they fit and glued down the Z first. Then I lifted each letter one at a time and adhered it to the black cardstock. In the small spaces scattered throughout, I used the stitched felt embellishments from the Follow Your Art embellishment Kit.

My first time using the Stampin’ Up Hand Lettered Prose Dies- I love them!
The stamp set they are bundled with is super cute- it is called Praiseworthy Prose.

But the dies are a great value for stand alone alphabet dies with the addition of symbols, too.

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

Stampin’ Up Scalloped Notecards with Time for Tags and Timeless Tag Punch

June 12, 2019

I just love the NEW Scalloped Notecards tucked back on page 168 of the catalog.

I used the NEW Host Stamp Set called Time for Tags and the NEW Timeless Tag Punch to make this sweet ensemble. I also used the NEW Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut out the sentiments.

A set of notecards needs a pretty little box to hold them.
Thank you UK Demo Gaynor Boyce for the instructions.
Here is a video showing how to make it:

I used the retired Subtles Designer Series Paper Packs but you can substitute any DSP.

Measurements:
DSP: I need to measure- will post later today!
Card Box Flap on front: 3-3/4″ x 10 scored at 5-1/4″ and 6
Box that holds cards: 3-1/2″ x 9-1/2″ scored on long side at 3-3/4″, 4-1/2″, 8-1/4″ and 9.
Score on the short side at 3/4″ on one of the sides.
