SU Totally Trees with Stitched Shapes Framelits

I was playing around with the SU Totally Trees stamp set this weekend…LOVE IT!

So many fun things to do with a set with this many images…

I also had the SU Stitched Shapes Framelits on my desk so I introduced them to each other, and this is what came out of it:

I even invited two of the newer In Colors 2016-18- Flirty Flamingo and Peek-a-boo Peach to the party. I think they hit it off, don’t you think?

The sentiment is from SU Bunch of Blossoms stamp set. Don’t overlook this stamp set with its coordinating punch either! I really like the font used for the sentiments in this set and they fit in the Stitched Shapes Framelits, too…and the parts of the flowers kind of look like seashells and starfish to me. Gotta love the stems, too. I need to make you a card soon to show it off, huh?

SU Bear Hugs

Look at those cute little bears…in real life, not so much!

When I saw the stamp set, I immediately pictured the bears in a forestwith pine trees. I was going to use the pines from the Holiday Fancy Foil Vellum I had left over but then came across the pine tree pattern on the current Merry Moments Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalog. I created a fun little landscape with the DSP and Mossy Meadow and Old Olive hills. I added a little bit of a blue lake to keep with the sentiment – a lake full of fish. With the simple geometric design of the trees, I adorned the inside with some matching Mossy Meadow and Old Olive trees using the tree punch with some crumb cake stumps.

The Bear framelits are on the Weekly deals this week but then again, they are also bundled with the stamp set- both at a 15% discount in the Occasions catalog.

So many cute sentiments with this one!

I can see cards for Father’s Day, Thanks, Just Because or maybe Sympathy, Birthday, Congrats, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and New Baby.

I just watched the SU video featuring Bear Hugs, and Andrea shows a super cool way to show both sides of the bear arms to give a big hug…

SU Pictogram Punches for the Lunchbox…

Did you see the cute theme over at The Paper Players Challenge # 261 this week? Sandy wants us to show some Lunchbox Love! I just saw the challenge and immediately thought of SU Pictogram Punches- You’re a Star! I have to sneak this in one of my awesome adult kids’ lunch bag or briefcase. I am so proud of each one of them- they have worked sooooo hard and continue to each day. It feels like it was just yesterday that they were homeschooling with me!

My card is a little under 5″ square. The little star cut outs were done with a die from the SU Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. I used a retired Chalk Talk framelit to cut out the sentiment. It is a long framelit so I cut it down to fit the size of the message:)

Isn’t this a great sentiment for the inside- Lunchbox Love? Perfectly placed in the SU Pictogram Punches stamp set along with stamps that coordinate with the Itty Bitty Accents punches. I also added an epoxy heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers.
