I made a wedding card this weekend that I need for September, good to work ahead, huh? However, I need two graduation cards sent out today…got to get working on those!

I also love the Subtle Embossing Folder, it is like I have a whole new kind of paper made from my cardstock. It looks wonderful as an embossed layer, and it looks really cool when you run through a stamped panel using the folder!

SU Broadway Birthday Fun Fold Video

Happy Monday to you! I have a fun fold birthday card for you today! And, it has a video, too!

I used to awesome new Broadway Birthday Bundle and the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper. It is the greatest paper- bold colors on one side and gold patterns on the other!

Here’s the video:

* TIP: When I cut for the card, I cut two cards at a time from a whole sheet of Basic Black cardstock so I had a 2-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Basic Black cardstock lying on my desk. After the video was made, I saw the 2-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece I cut off the front of my card on my desk. I thought…hmmmm…that 2-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ I cut off the the Basic Black could be the actual flap! In the video, I have the flap measuring 2-3/4″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ but in the photo below you see the slight difference in the flaps, I just altered the other flap to be 2-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and the Lovely Lipstick panel on the flap is 2-1/4″ x 4″. Just thought I would share that- no waste!

Measurements:
Basic Black Cardstock Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ with 2-1/2″ cut off from the front right side of the card. Front Flap: 2-3/4″ (or 2-1/2″) x 8-1/2″scored at 4-1/4″ See note above
Lovely Lipstick: 2-1/2″ or (2-1/4″) x 4″ See note above, For WISH 2-3/4″ x 4″
Whisper White: 2-3/4″ x 4″ for Hooray, 2-1/2″ x 4″ for second sign inside

SU Springtime Impressions with Itty Bitty Greetings

Happy Friday, kids! I made the quickest card in my history of cardmaking this morning…

die cut, sponge, stamp, die cut…DONE.

I used a Whisper White Notecard so I did not even have to score….hahaha.
I simply snipped off two little parts off the die cut, and it is the perfect size.
So, the die can be used for both A2 cards and notecads. Nice.

I wanted to play around with the NEW Springtime Impressions die
and see how it looked sponged with my daubers..so easy.
So easy I thought why not share my first attempt with all of you today?
I jazzed it up with some of the NEW Mint Macaron Faceted Dots
and used a NEW die from the Stitched Labels Framelits:)

That is the NEW Highland Heather ink- to me a very nice purple- the cardstock is a perfect match.
The NEW Gorgeous Grape is a lovely darker purple as well. So excited to have these new colors as “good” purple is hard to find! After typing purple a few times, I am thinking it is a funny word- made me giggle:)

SU Soft Sayings One Sheet Wonder

Wow! The new In Colors 2018-2020 are just so fresh and vibrant
that they are going to knock your socks off!
I played around with a way to show you all the colors in one place this weekend.
I decided to do use the One Sheet Wonder Technique using an 8-1/2″ x 11″ patterned paper you make yourself!

SU Lilypad Lake Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek of the NEW bundle coming out June 1st in the Annual Catalog.
I used the new stamp set Lilypad Lake and its coordinating Lakeside framelits to create this simple card.

Both blues used on this card are new as well- the lighter blue is Balmy Blue and the darker one is Blueberry Bushel.
Balmy Blue is kind of a brighter mix of our retiring Marina Mist and Soft Sky.
The Balmy Blue panel with the waves die cut measures 3-3/4″ x 5″.
I bordered it with the new IN COLOR Blueberry Bushel cut to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″.
I stamped some Blueberry Bushel waves to the inside with a sentiment of calmness.
The sun is a 1/2″ circle of So Saffron cardstock set behind the awesome die cuts from the Lakeside Framelits.
I love having new dies to cut out sentiments, don’t you?

This new set has great little sailboats in it, too- it’s going to be a winner!
