SU Easter Card

Stampin’ UP Fable Friends Bunny

February 8, 2019

Oh, I am so smitten with this little bunny.
He brings back memories of reading Beatrix Potter stories with my kids.

I love the other images in the stamp set.
Look at these fun projects made by the Stampin’ Up Home Office:)

SU Hold on to Hope Fun Fold Video Tutorial

March 5, 2018

Can you tell I LOVE the SU Hold on to Hope Bundle?

Here is another fun fold card using the bundle with a video showing you how to make it!

I used the Happy Easter sentiment from the SU Sweet Little Something stamp set-
the one with the photorealistic stuffed bunny:)

I think if you didn’t use the Happy Easter sentiment, you could add in
“Celebrating One of God’s Most Remarkable Creations…You”
and it could be a wonderful Confirmation or Baptism card,  what do you think?

Measurements:

Pear Pizzazz card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side
Whisper White embossed front panel: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Whisper White folded inside: 8″ x 10-1/2″ scored at 4″ on the 8″ side
Layering Oval for opening on the front

SU Basket Bunch and Basket Builder Framelits

April 4, 2017

Here is another card using the same design as the other day
but this time… it’s an Easter Card with a chocolate Easter Bunny!

I am sharing it with The Paper Players Challenge # 338

Looks like the placement my  polka dots embossed panel is off a little:(

However, my other identical sample card took a nose dive into
the Early Espresso Ink Pad at class, so this one has to do!

Last week, my stamping gals cut, cut, and cut…
and one of the nights, we even had an Easter Egg Hunt looking for one of the little dies…lol!

SU Crosses of Hope with Chevron Punch Lattice

It’s time to SPRING into Tara’s Friday Mashup Challenge # 154.

1. Create a Spring Card.
2. Use Scattered embossing by using a stylus to selectively emboss portions of an embossing folder.
3. Mash It Up with a Spring Card with Scattered embossing!

I was in Easter mode this week for my classes so I thought I would share one since Spring brings Easter with it. I am sure you have been seeing a lot of Chevron Punch lattices over blogland. Well, I tried my hand at one or two. You just punch a continuous line of chevrons out of a 8 1/2″ by 1 1/4″ strip of card stock. Repeat with another piece. Then you lay one on top of the other with the chevrons going in opposite directions. Then simply interlace them and gently spread to create the lattice. I used the Little Leaves Sizzlet for the leaves and the Petite Petals for the flowers on this card. I also used the lovely retired SU set Crosses of Hope. The Hardwood Stamp is the perfect background for the lattice and the cross, don’t you think?

SU Crosses of Hope with Chevron Lattice

I also made one with the Woodgrain background stamp that has a finer line image on it. I used the Bird Builder punch of the leaves on this one.

SU Crosses of Hope Chevron PUnch Woodgrain

After making both of them…
I think I would use the Hardwood background with the Bird Builder leaves
on my next card…

I sure hope you play along with the Friday Mashup this week. As you can see, I did not mash it up this week, will you? I would love to see it!
