SU Ornament Keepsakes and SU More Merry Messages

Isn’t Deanna Jean’s work for MUSE Card  Club #6 just amazing?

Well, that’s a rhetorical question- of course, it is!!

I was inspired  by her card to use a considerable amount of white (vanilla) space with a border around the sentiment. I was definitely a chicken and would not attempt to doodle on the border so I opted for paper piercing- and a thank you to SU for providing the perfect tool for precision piercing;) I also did a mimic of the flowers but with Christmas ornaments adorned with some pearls.

SU Cold Play-Two Tag Snowman

Freshly Made Sketches # 71 contains a tag this week. I thought of the Christmas tags I made this year inspired by Connie Plaumann. I got out my retired SU Cold Play and my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to place the coals just right on my snowman. I added a fresh spring of pine to his hat and wrapped a lovely felt scarf around his neck before I placed him among some embossed snowflakes. I added a sweet little sentiment to the bottom right of the card and it is ready to send this December….don’t know why I didn’t make this card last December? Maybe because I wasn’t inspired by FMS to make a card with a tag in it???

Some tags for wrapping…

Some friends and I got together to make some quick gift tags last week…the bottle tags were changed very little from Mary Fish’s tags… I added some branches to the hat and  a felt ribbon scarf to the Snowman that came from Connie Plaumann, and the Do not open ’til Christmas tags were a CASE from Linda Heller. Thanks ladies for the great ideas!!

Pals Paper Arts Christmas Blessings

My first Christmas post is for Pals Paper Arts #145. I love the designs in the Candlelight Christmas DSP, and STAMPIN’UP makes coordinating colors of Early Espresso, Primrose Petals, Gumball Green, and Very Vanilla very easy.
Here’s my take on the challenge:
