I thought you might like seeing the Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Time Bundle in action!
Actually, these are super simple cards with a fun touch of detail to them!
I cut the Shaded Spruce and the Real Red pieces to 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and then die cut the holly and candy canes. I tucked in some of the holly leaves that fell out of the die cut.
I also made the card below with the Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Time stamp set. I cut down this card base to 4″ to frame the white lace Ornate Layer.
Measurements:
Just Jade Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11 scored at 5-1/2″ on 8-1/2″ side, Whisper White Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side
Whisper White inside of Jade: 4″ x 5-1/4″, 3-1/2″square for sentiment
Real Red and Shaded Spruce for die cutting: 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
Inspired by the catalog again…this time, it’s the Stampin’ Up! Peace and Joy Bundle.
I also made one with JOY… I did the same sentiment inside
but added the word AND to you and yours.
I made these for a swap and easily stamped the word bright after I die cut the white die cuts that border the words. I don’t know why it seemed to save me time? It was a quick assembly line of images when I made these for a demonstrator swap I participate in each month.
I think I like the Coastal Cabana border a tad more than the Granny Apple Green, what do you think? I bet Flirty Flamingo would be great, too! The MERRY AND CHRISTMAS really stand out in Shaded Spruce. I should have added some rhinestones though…
There is always a Christmas stamp set that carries over in the Annual Catalog that emerges as a new favorite of mine. This year it is the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs. I love the pinecones and the pines branches- they were a perfect backdrop for the bells in the Stampin’ Up! Cherish the Season Bundle. The sentiments are just gorgeous- I will be using them next week in my video!
I did use the retired Wrapped in Plaid DSP from last year with gold accents in it. If you still have it- use it! If not, use any DSP with some kind of green in it that will coordinate with the pine branches or use the returning Brightly Gleaming DSP with copper accents and some copper bells!
I think this is a simple but elegant Christmas card with the gold foil and the gold twine in the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack. The twine is so easy to tie in a cute little bow- and that luscious Shaded Spruce Ribbon is out of this world gorgeous!
Who doesn’t have a bag or box of scraps and strips of Designer Series Paper?
I just can’t throw away a piece of it! Well, here is a great way to use up those 1″ scrap strips!
I used the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Stamp Set and the Ornate Layers Dies.
Here is a video showing how to put together this simple elegant card:
Measurements:
Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side, Trim 1/8″ off the open side after it is folded to make the width 4-1/8″
DSP Scraps: (2) 1″ x 3″, (2) 1″ x 4-1/4″
Bumblebee Rectangle: 4″ x 5-1/4″ to cut out the largest Stitched Rectangle (3-3/4″ x 5-1/8″)
Cut out the rectangle (2-1/4″ x 3-5/8″) under the white Ornate Layer from the middle of the largest rectangle that you adhere the strips onto
Whisper White for Ornate Layer: 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″
