Stampin’ UP! Trucking Along Punch Bundle with Patchwork Pieces Dies

July 31, 2023

I played Tic-Tac-Toe with the Paper Players #651 using the Stampin’ UP! Trucking Along Bundle and the Patchwork Pieces Dies. I added some Loose Daisy Embellishments, too:)

Whenever I see Yellow, I think it can be Masculine but then again, it can be feminine so…I am going with GREEN-DIE CUTS-MASCULINE (there is a truck involved) but then…FEMININE-DIE CUTS-YELLOW since there are flowers and sunshine! My dad would love this card AND my mom would love this card so it kind of a Tic-Tac-Toe PLUS sign!

The border around the Patchwork Pieces Dies measures 3-1/4″ x 4- 3/4″.

Oh my, I was picked as the Headliner at the Paper Players #651!

Stampin’ UP! Wanted to Say Dies from Lucky Hand Event

July 26, 2023

We had a good time at the two LUCKY HAND events on Monday! I wanted to show you what we made in between rounds of playing…we used the Stampin’ UP! Just Wanted to Say Dies- perfect stand alone dies to make super cute cards/projects!

Our first card used the “Feel Better Soon” dies in the set. I love how you can coordinate the script words with the shadow behind it with your DSP color palette. I used the Stampin’ UP! Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series on the front with so many colors to choose from! Just score a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side and fold back at 2-1/8″ and adhere a 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of DSP. The inside white is 4″ x 5-1/4″.

The second card we made used the “you’re too kind” dies in the set. We also used the Patchwork Pieces Dies with the Stampin’ UP! Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper and Boho Blue card stock. The Night of Navy border is 3-3/8″ x 4-7/8″.

The third project we did was a Scalloped Gift Card Box using the “Happy Birthday” dies. The box used The Stampin’ UP! Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper along with the Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper- the back of the gold side which looks silver. I pulled out some retired Berry Burst ribbon and paper shreddie to accent the DSP/card stock! The Blueberry Bushel is 2-3/4″ x 4″ , the Berry Burst is 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″, the Lemon Lime Twist is 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ and the DSP and acetate are both 2″ x 3-3/4″.

The fourth card used Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper, too. I used the Basics 3D Embossing Folder with the crosshatching pattern to jazz up this festive easel card that could be used for any kind of special occasion. I chose to do a card celebrating the New Year 2024 using the Alphabet Al-a-mode Dies. Just score a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side and fold back at 2-1/8″ to create an easel in the landscape position. On the inside of the card, the embossed Gold Foil is 2″ x 5-1/4″ with an embossed white piece that is 1-7/8″ x 5″. The black card stock and the Gold Celebrations acetate are both 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″.

You can see why those Just Wanted to Say Dies are one of my favorite products!

Stampin’ UP! Trucking Along Bundle

July 24, 2023

I did a little stampin’ on this one, y’all. It was so fun! The cute little tag came from the retired Pretty Pillow Box Dies. If you have it, It was just the perfect size for the sentiment!

I stamped my scene on a 2-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic White and adhered it to a 3-1/4″ piece of retired Stampin’ UP! Perfectly Penciled DSP. I stamped off my puffy clouds with the new Azure Afternoon ink. It is definitely not Balmy Blue- kind of like Balmy Blue with a tinge of some Tahitian Tide mixed in.

I love how the truck stamp and the tree leaves stamp has the open space for the white to peak through on the stamped truck and the stamped leaves on the trees.

Stampin’ UP! Fun on Wheels Bundle

July 21, 2023

I played along with the Freshly Made Sketches #595.

I used the Stampin’ UP! Fun on Wheels Bundle with some retired Layering Vellum Designs with a map pattern on it even though there is a stamp in the set that has a section of a map.

I don’t wet emboss often but when I do, I wonder why I don’t do it more often! I love the look of white embossing on colored card stock. And, I love the map vellum!

I think this is a fun stamp set- I can see it being used for kids and teenagers as well as adults.

7/25/23- I was picked as a Princess at Freshly Made Sketches #595. Thanks for the pick, Kim!
