I have two more lovely cards I made using the Stampin’ UP! Coneflower Celebrations Bundle. One of them uses the Dies in the bundle. The Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper measures 4″ x 5-1/4″. Isn’t that Bumblebee trinket just the cutest?

And the other card uses the fun folding flower die that I colored with Stampin’ Blends. The Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper is 3-3/4″ x 5″ and bordered with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ white panel.

I took out the Stampin’ UP! Coneflower Celebrations Bundle for a test run. I kept imagining the flowers done some different way. Here is what I created using the Stampin’ UP! Elements of Text stamp set, too. How many times do we need that sentiment…Happy Belated Birthday?!?!

I used the die cut for the center since the text didn’t look as nice on it as on the petals. The Very Vanilla background panel was embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder.

I like the sweet butterfly image in the set that I used on the inside with another great sentiment.

DON’T FORGET…JULY 23, 24, AND 25

Kintsugi, also known as kintsukuroi, is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the cracks with lacquer mixed with gold, silver, or platinum. It’s more than just a repair technique; it’s a philosophy that embraces imperfections and sees beauty in the broken. It was so interesting to to learn more about the history of Kintsugi- really reminds me of the brokenness of humankind and the way Jesus puts us back together to be perfect through Him before our Heavenly Father. And that Jesus uses all our imperfections to create beauty through salvation- complete and whole!

Oh, it is so pretty! I spent last evening cutting out the gorgeous vases in the Kintsugi Imperfections Designer Series Paper- Yes, I got 28 of each vase in one pack- 2 sheets with only the vases and the 28 pretty Petal Pink and Lost Lagoon flowers, too!

With the gold accents on the DSP, I added some Brushed Gold Metallic Paper to the card. The Brushed Silver & Gold Metallic Paper is on Last Chance/Discontined List- $5 for 6 sheets- 3 silver and 3 gold- AMAZING DEAL! I also used the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder that coordinates with the Kintsugi Suite on page 59 of the Annual Catalog. It was not available for a long time but is NOW! And Free Shipping ends today!

I cut a little slit in the small bowl to tuck in the flowers. And used some gold die cuts on the inside, too. Those pretty flowers can be put in the vases, too.

I used the adorable Stampin’ UP! Meant to Bee Bundle with the Sweet Jar Bundle this time around. I used the retired Stampin’ UP! Bee Mine Designer Series Paper- yeah, I stock up an anything with a bee:)

I did have to find my Sweet Sorbet ink pad and re-inker though to match the DSP! The card swings open to reveal the cute little bee:)

It is super easy to make…take a look:

Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side, Front of card DSP on top: 2″ x 4″ and on bottom: 3″ x 4″, White inside: 5-1/4″ x 8″ scored at 2-1/2″, 4-1/2″ and 6″ on the 8″ side, Largest Circle in the Stylish Shapes to cut the circle on the front of the card- you can use any circle you want, Sweet Sorbet Circle the same size as the one cut out of the front of the card, One size smaller circle for black circle, DSP on the folded mechanism: 1-1/4″ x 5″ and 1-3/4″ x 5″
