Stampin’ Up Band Together in Pink and Green

June 28, 2019

Happy Friday to you, friends! I have a pretty pink and green card for you today using
the Stampin’ Up Band Together Bundle.

If you have perused through the catalog as many times as I imagine you have…
you would have seen the card designs on p. 121 where I got my inspiration.

I love all three cards they presented as samples!

I used Flirty Flamingo and Mint Macaron on this card instead of the Soft Seafoam I was going to use. While I was traveling on the train to Pittsburgh last month, I had worked on some cards so I took my Soft Seafoam and Highland Heather ink pads with me. Somehow, I managed to forget them so no creations since then using those colors- can’t wait to get back and see where I left them!!! Though, in the end, I am thinking that the darker Mint plays better with the Flirty Flamingo than the softer color of Seafoam would have so… it worked out:)

Thanks for buzzing by, friends…

Don’t forget Stampin’ Up added some new things to the Clearance Rack.

Stampin’ Up Band Together Bundle

June 24, 2019

I went up to my craft room yesterday and thought, “What color have I not used lately?”
I came up with Mango Melody. I paired it with the bright Call Me Clover Green.

I stamped the flowers and leaves with Versamark and heat embossed them with White Emboss Powder. I then sponged over the flowers with Mango Melody ink  and the leaves with Call Me Clover ink. The white embossing resists the ink when it is sponged over creating a pretty gradient of Mango Melody ink and Call Me Clover ink on the flowers and leaves. The flowers and leaves were easily cut out with the Detailed Bands Dies bundled with the Band Together Stamp Set.

Just take a look at all the other fun dies!!!

Stampin’ Up Floral Essence Bundle

June 21, 2019

A little fancy for this Friday…
everyone needs a little black card and some red flowers once in a while!

The black panel background is embossed with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. It looks very nice:)

I used the Stampin’ Up Floral Essence Punch Bundle on this card.

It has the Perennial Flower Punch that punches out a three petal flower like on this card:

I love the image of the leaves. It is a nice solid image that matches a lot of different flowers I have in other stamp sets. The leaves punch out easily with the our current Leaf Punch.

Punches are a quick and easy way to add interest and depth to your projects. And there’s no better way to cut out stamped images—many of our stamp sets have coordinating punches that cross over from one set to another set. But I do have to add that the red flowers were NOT cut out with a die:(
