Happy Friday, Friends. You know what that means…the Friday Mashup # 157 is up! It was my turn to pick the challenge, and I am so excited to see what you come up with- I am so inspired by your creations each week.
Here’s your Mashup Challenge:
1. Create a project with “Polka Dots”
2. Create a project with a “Fun Fold”
3. Mash it Up! and create a “Fun Fold project with some Polka Dots”
I made this card for a swap with some friends in my SU family. Our focus was a “Fun Fold” card- one that was not a traditional A2 folded in half. I made the envelope on the Envelope Punch Board using the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch measurements. It comes out a bit larger with the adjustments inherent in the measurements.
The white accordion part of the card is 10 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 3 1/2″ and 7″ on the 10 1/2″ side. The middle fold is blank so you can write your message. The red border it sits on is 4 1/2″ x 3 3/4″. Finally, the Pacific Point blue base that sits inside the envelope is 5 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.
You just fold up the card and place the belly band around it to keep it shut if hand delivering. If you are mailing it, skip the belly band and just close it up and your envelope is part of the card!!
