Stampin’ Up Birthday Cheer Video Tutorial

Hello, Happy over the Hump Day!
Today I have two super easy, super cute birthday cards for you.

I made a video to give you some tips:)

A Simple card with a Big and Bold die cut and sentiment gives the card a WOW factor!

Using your Stamparatus lets you crank out a bunch of these babies in no time!
And the Big Shot die cutting is so simple, too.

Measurements:
Whisper White Card Base: Cupcakes 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″,
Presents 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo panels: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Basic Black Cardstock for die cuts: Presents 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″, Cupcakes 2-1/8″ x 4″
Black/Silver Ribbon: 5-1/2″ and 6-1/2″

Stampin’ Up Best Catch with High Tide

Time for a masculine card, don’t you think?
So, I pulled out my Stampin’ Up Best Catch Bundle.

I used the water, sand, and sea grass images from the High Tide stamp set to create a scene for the fly fisherman. I used my Stampin’ Blends to color the basket, fisherman, and the fish.

It’s hard to distinguish the card base color in the photo but it is Blackberry Bliss.
It looks great with the Soft Suede Basket Weave embossed panel.

I used the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set to finish off the inside along with the fishing lure.

Stampin’ Up Piece of Cake Bundle

Here is a fun card using the new Mango Melody cardstock embossed
with the Striped Scallop Embossing Folder.

I used the Stampin’ Up Piece of Cake stamp set bundled with the Cake Builder Punch. I used Poppy Parade as the card base with some Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green thrown in. I stamped and cut out with the balloons with the Broadway Birthday Bundle.

Stampin’ Up Humming Along Bundle – Heat Emboss in any Color with a Stamparatus Video Tutorial

It happens every catalog…I see a bundle…pass it over…then, say…
hmmm, I am going to take a second look at it…

And, by golly, I LOVE it!! The Stampin’ Up Humming Along Bundle is just fabulous!
Look at that huge bloom and that lovely hummingbird.

I even made it stand out more on my card by heat embossing it in black.

*Thank you to Carol for her reminder of SU carrying black embossing powder item #146956…I was actually thinking how we did not carry Black Craft Ink anymore that we could emboss with clear and get no strays!!!! I loved this technique because we could use CLEAR instead of BLACK embossing powder because it is neater:)

Notice that die cut negative in the middle of the birthday card? Isn’t that cool?
I can’t wait to use the blue die cut that came out on some other card.

It’s a GREAT stamp set called Piece of Cake that is bundled with the new Cake Builder Punch.

The Lace embossing folder and the 7 layers of alternating White and Smoky Slate
really create an elegant card, don’t you think?
