WHAT? A Monday VIDEO????
WELL, there are only two days of Stampin’ UP! Sale-a-bration 2023 left! I wanted to share a cool card I made using the SAB Freebie Enjoy the Journey Deisgner Series Paper! I love this card- a great way to show off the gorgeous DSP!! And, it can sit up on its own!
What a cool way to show off the DSP by opening it up the whole way to show off a foot of beautiful scenery!
Watch this video to see how I put it together in a unique way! The key WOW with this fold is that it can sit up on its own when opened and you use the whole 12 inches of the DSP!!
Turn the card around and write your message. This back middle gives another added sturdy panel to the card and a great place to write the message so the front open part is clear of any writing when it is displayed.
I just love how this came together! The black panels worked so well so the card can sit on its own- oh did I already mention that? I have a slight issue with cards that can’t sit on their own:( I can think of a ton of other Designer Series Papers to try this with, how about you? Maybe this week I will show some more samples!!!!
Measurements: DSP: 5-1/4″ x 12 scored at 4″ and 8″ on the 12″ side, Black side panels: 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″, Black middle panel on back: 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, Basic White on back: 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″, Black mountain cut from 1-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of card stock, scraps for clouds, person, and sentiment
