Thirty-six years ago, I became on mom on December 30, 1987! I was married just shy of 10 months (can you say surprise?!) and was on the semester break of my senior year of college in Nursing….my how time flies! And may I add I had a 4.0 the semester I was pregnant and the semester I was a mom. Two best semesters of college.. I guess I had no social life to draw me away from studying…LOL.

Before I head out to give my 36 year old baby boy some hugs…

I am posting an EARLY REGISTRATION for my January 2024 Busy Bee Bag.

I will have a card for you tomorrow…I like to give you some inspiration in every post and email:)

Just a reminder that the

January 2024 Busy Bee Bag

Registration will be January 1-5, 2024

Registration is limited to 35 people

so register early!!!

How does it work?

You register each month, and I will send a BUSY BEE BAG

to your door with 8 card kits and the supplies

you need to make them for $40 with shipping included.

Each BUSY BEE BAG will include at least $22- $25 worth of product in addition to the 8 card kits (2 each of 4 designs) in a reusable bag for storing/organizing. Stamped images and stamp sets are not included but you can add the featured stamp set/dies/bundle to be sent with your BUSY BEE BAG with no shipping added for the featured stamp set/bundle/dies! You can even substitute equal value items! That is…a bundle for a bundle, a stamp for a stamp, die set for a die set etc. and I will pay the shipping on that stamp set/die/bundle and include it in your November 2023 Busy Bee Bag!

I am using the NEW Perennial Postage Bundle in January 2024!

Since it is SALE-A-BRATION, I will include the

Opaque Faceted Gems OR the Pool Party Crinkle Ribbon if you order the Bundle🙂

BUSY BEE BAGS are available to residents of the United States only.
BUSY BEE BAGS are reusable for organizing your craft supplies!
The monthly fee of $40 includes shipping.
To get the current month’s BUSY BEE BAG, you must register and pay by the 5th of the month by 11:59 pm(Eastern Time).
Kits will include approximately $22-$25 in product (ribbon, embellishments, paper, etc) each month but the exact product will not be announced ahead of time since I do not control inventory! Products will not be exchanged out for other items. I will let you know the stamp set/dies/bundle I am using if you want to add them on with no additional shipping. You just follow the prompts when registering.
Packets will ship about the 25th-27th of the month via USPS 1st Class Mail.
PDF instructions and/or a video will be sent out the day the kits are shipped.
There are no refunds, substitutions or exchanges on BUSY BEE BAGS.
I will die cut labels for sentiments but not ones from the Bundle I chose to feature that month. I will punch things if it adds to the card i.e. leaves/heart etc. If a punch is featured and can only be used with an image, I will not punch it.

Hello, friends…I have a Disclaimer on this video…

“It has been quite a day…my video stopped short when my son called although I had my phone on airplane mode- it rang through my ipad, and I thought I could hit end on my watch but it ended my video on my phone!!! But you get the important parts! Thanks for understanding!

The card is so stinkin’ cute with that cow from the Stampin’ UP! Cutest Cows Punch Bundle coming out on January 4, 2023 in the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog!

Here is how I made the barn door with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder…and grass from the Stampin’ UP! Sending Love Dies.

You can use just the single die cut of grass or use both parts of the grass die when you cut from the Sending Love Dies to make a layered look as you can see on the right side. I really like the layered look.

I made the handles on the door using the Stampin’ UP! Sending Love Dies on the left one (it’s the mailbox flag!) and the Mini Envelope Dies on the right one.

I did two different insides using the stamps in the Stampin’ UP! Cutest Cows Dies.

Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side, Door: 2-1/2″ x 4″ ran through embossing folder (with wood texture) with 1/4″ white strips, Balmy Blue panel outside and White panel inside: 4″ x 5-1/4″

My stamping gals did some flower arranging at our Product Class this month. We used the Stampin’ UP! Paper Florist Dies to create a beautiful arrangement to decorate our framed desktop calendar. I love how the Paper Florist Dies have not only many different florals but also have multiple petals on one die.

I made this sample frame for them with a mini calendar from the GraciousBeeGreetings on Etsy…as I was watermarking the photo, I noticed after its big trip up to Pittsburgh and back on the plane, it lost the Sweet Sorbet buds on the right side of the big Lemon Lolly Bloom which really rounded out the arrangement! You know I will find them sooner or later. Oh, packing is an adventure each month- I get pretty creative. Jim laughs when I save every little sturdy box that comes in the mail! I mean I save so many boxes, I think I have a problem…

I initially started out my design with a palette of Lemon Lolly, Petal Pink, and Sweet Sorbet but was knew something was missing…when I added the Azure Afternoon and the touches of black it just came together! My stamping friends came up with many variations from my sample…

The frame was a 5″ x 7″ with a 4″ x 6″ matted opening. I used the retired Stitched Greenery Die for the background that the calendar sits on with the flowers.

Stampin’ UP! Trusty Tools Bundle Pop Up Fun Fold AND PRODUCT SHARES OPEN

Here’s a Pop Up Fun Fold Card I made with my Team this past week! It uses the NEW Trusty Tools Bundle coming out in the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog.

Here’s a top view to show how it pops up in the middle when opened. You can add White panels to the back of the pop out out to write an additional message. I used the Best Family Ever stamp set for the Grandpa and Husband along with the sentiment from the Trusty Tools set.

I used a color palette of Black, Gray Granite, Crushed Curry, Shaded Spruce, and Poppy Parade. I can’t decide which one I like better???? What’s your pick?

I love how the Trusty Tools Die Set cuts out the stamped images and Die Cut tools!

I forgot to show how I added (2) 1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces of white on the back to write a message:)

Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 10″ scored at 2, 4, 6, and 8 on the 10″ side, DSP (6) on black card with stamped images: 1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ and DSP (6) on gray card: 1-1/2″ x 5″ bordered by (6) 1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ cardstock, Pegboard: 2-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ bordered by 2-3/4″ x 3-1/8″, Belly Bands: 1″ x 9-1/2″ with 3/4″ x 9-1/2″ on top of the strip, pop up mechanism: (2) 1″ x 2″ pieces of cardstock folded over on 1″ side to make a 1/2″ x 2″ piece- put folded edges together and adhere the flaps to the middle of the inside on each side of the scored line as seen in video and then adhere the pegboard to the other flaps.
