I love the purples, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape, with the Black Glitter Paper. By the way, the Black Glitter Paper is leaving on January 4 and not returning until the next Holiday catalog. The Scripty Embossing Folder adds a delicate and soft background for the front. I always forget how pretty it is! I LOVE the sentiment banner in the Stampin’ UP! Floral Heart Dies !!!!!!!
And, I say, why not send a Valentine card to one of your girlfriends this year- remember when we used to send valentines to every one in our elementary school class- all the boys and the girls? Don’t you think it would brighten someone’s day? My friend Norma, who lives in Alaska, just shared a wonderful story how a gentleman (in his 80’s) that lives in her apartment building waits every year for her handmade Christmas card. She asked him what he does with them, he says he saves every one! Doesn’t that just melt your heart? It shows how much a card can brighten someone’s day:) It really spoke to me.

Oh, I was so happy how this turned out:) But then, how can a card not look good with these great word dies in the Stampin’ UP! Forever & Always Bundle? I LOVE the shadow outlines, similar to the Peace and Joy Bundle in the Holiday Catalog- don’t miss out on that one!
The YOU was die cut with the Stampin’ UP! Playful Alphabet Dies and that sweet floral die cut comes from a great NEW Bundle called Vine Design coming out in the NEW January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I think it is going to be one of my faves! It has 3 great shapes of floral dies in it with all occasion sentiments with a sentiment die to boot! The Subtle Embossing folder just adds what is needed to jazz up the 3-1/2: x 4-1/2: Blushing Bride panel under the floral die cut on the Pear Pizzazz card base. I also used the NEW Matte Black Dots- they are really cool looking with the matte finish- I used the smallest of the 2 sizes that come in a package of of 160 pieces.
The images in the Stampin’ UP! Forever & Always stamp set are not curved like you see on the inside of my card but because they are photopolymer (the clear ones you can see through), you can adjust them on your acrylic block. I did this to fit across my inside because the “with” is a separate stamp from the “my whole heart”. So many fun phrases you can create from the die cut words and the stamped words! The stitched die cut heart comes from the Stitched Be Mine Dies in the Annual Catalog.
I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #466. I did take a little artistic license and flipped it a quarter turn, and I guess my sentiment is a tad bold and not even in the right direction…lol…but I have to say, it was the Blushing Bride rectangle and the slim black rectangle flaggy things on the ends that spoke to me:) That’s my story, and I am sticking with it!

I wanted to share a beautiful card my friend, Debbie Malucci, sent me using the Stampin’ UP! Poinsettia Petals Bundle. It is just stunning!
I am not good at sponging so when I see great sponging I am impressed. I think Debbie did a wonderful job sponging on the Very Vanilla cardstock. I love the neutral colors with the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. The pop of red was just the right accent on her card:)

Here is a sneak peek at the GORGEOUS new Stampin’ UP! In Bloom Bundle coming out in the January- June 2021 Mini Catalog on January 5, 2021.
I used the Starburst Technique to show off a Sale-a-Bration 2021 Freebie- the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. The DSP can be yours with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration 2021. It is super easy to jazz up your card with scraps of paper. Watch the video to see!
I used the stamped images from the Stampin’ UP! In Bloom stamp set on the inside of the card to match the flowers die cut with the Stampin’ UP! Pierced Blooms Dies. I actually stamped the sentiment on the inside with Old Olive ink to use the colors from the DSP on the outside. The inside below is from the other card below:)
Look how beautiful the stitching is on the Pierced Blooms Dies. I embossed the bottom 1″ on the fronts with Tasteful Textiles (Soft Seafoam) and the Subtle (Seaside Spray) Embossing Folders.
I used another pattern from the Stampin’ UP! Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper and a white bordering panel behind it on the card above. Just pick colors to coordinate with the pattern you chose- so many fun colors to work with the Sale-a-Bration Paper Blooms DSP.
Measurements: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side, DSP: (4) 1-1/2″ x 5″ cut on diagonal as seen in the video to make 8 triangles, Panel for DSP Starburst: 4″ x 5-1/4″ and a 1/16″ x 5-1/4″ strip above the bottom 1″ cardstock strip, Lower embossed solid cardstock strip: 1″ x 5-1/4″, Whisper White inside: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Oh, last week, I had an amazing dessert – a triple layered vanilla ice cream cake with an Oreo® cookie crust, Heath Bar® crunch crumble with caramel and hot fudge sauce with my stamping pal, Janet Munden. We shared it after lunch. Yes, it was my idea, and I ate most of it! Janet shared a card with me using the Stampin’ UP! Sweet Ice Cream Bundle. I just had to share it with you! It is so cute and will be available on January 5th in the January to June 2021 Mini Catalog. PS..it was not my birthday, she’s just nice like that:)
It’s nice to have a punch bundled with the stamp set. She pulled the colors for the card out of the sprinkle-y Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper on the inside. I love the dark Blackberry Bliss banner embossed with silver against the other subtle colors. The Painted Texture Embossing Folder kinda looks like icing or ice cream, don’t you think? But those Stampin’ UP! Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles are the really the icing on the cake, I mean the ice cream cone:)
