Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder

August 31, 2020

I knew when I got the NEW 3D Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder, I wanted to emboss foil!

I used a lovely sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cherish the Season with the  NEW Snowflake Splendor Ribbon and the Adhesive Backed Snowflakes.

I was inspired by a card l received last year from my friend, Emily Turner. I was so taken with it as were so many of my stamping girls!

Emily used Seaside Spray Cardstock, Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper, Silver Foil, and Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon with Seaside Spray Ribbon layered on top of it. She scattered silver Metallic Pearls on it, too! Everything is still current since SU brought back the DSP and ribbon.  But, she did heat emboss the sentiment  from Toile Christmas with Iridescent Ice but you could CASE it with White Embossing Powder:)

Stampin’ Up! August 2020 Paper Pumpkin “World’s Greatest”

August 28, 2020

I used my Stampin’ Up! August 2020 Paper Pumpkin “World’s Greatest” to make this card for a friend of mine.

I loved the argyle patterned paper in the kit. The pre-cut trophy and the photopolymer image of the medal are awesome.  I love that the colors were unisex so the materials in the kit are versatile. Using the Stitched Rectangles Dies adds a finished polished look.

Now, we are looking at September’s Kit!!! WooHoo!

Stampin’ Up! Love of Leaves Bundle

August 26, 2020

If you have not taken a close look at the Love of Leaves Bundle in the Mini Catalog…
now is the time!

After I made my video, I realized I could cut out the step of stamping the Cajun Craze leaf separately by just stamping it on the front panel first, cutting it out with the stitched die, and then using the stitched lines die on the right side of the panel. Then, I just had to pop back in the Cajun Craze leaf! Why didn’t I do that in the first place?!?! Oh well, I bet you were thinking that as I was doing it the other way…lol.

All the leaf dies have stitching detail on them…so cool!
And that detailed stitched lines die- really neat!

You can use the stitched die insert to put texture onto stamped images.

And…oh, how pretty is that Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper…
all occasion patterns with wonderful fall colors among them!

PLAID TIDINGS 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

Measurements:
Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ on the 11″ side
Whisper White on inside and outside: 4″ x 5-1/4″ and one for stamping leaves and sentiment
Cajun Craze; 2″ square
Plaid Tidings DSP: 1″ x 5-1/4″

Stampin’ Up! Coming Home Bundle

August 24, 2020

Here is my first card made with the Stampin’ Up! Coming Home Bundle…

I die cut the largest circle in the Stitched Shapes Dies and used one of the snowdrift dies from the Home Together Dies to cut across the middle of the Stitched Circle. I colored the trees with my Stampin’ Up! Old Olive and Soft Suede Blends. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas.
The Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper is just fantastic!

I think I may color my trees one more time to darken the Old Olive to match the DSP:)

Stampin’ Up! Gift Wrapped

August 20, 2020

How easy was this Christmas card to make?

Super, super easy with the Gift Wrapped Punch Bundle! Classic red and green Christmas colors found in the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series create a cute wrapped gift with a bow made with the Gift Bow Builder Punch.

I created some texture by running my 3/4″ ribbon strips and the bow through my NEW Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. My little tag was die cut with the Peek-a-Hoot Dies.

I decorated the inside with two of the sentiments and a bow stamped in the colors of the DSP.
