Stampin’ Up Country Home with Harvest Hellos

August 30, 2019

Well, here is my pumpkin punched out with the Apple Builder Punch using the Stampin’ Up Harvest Hellos Bundle. I designed the card around the colors in the Designer Series Paper. The pumpkin is Cajun Craze, the card base and leaves are Pretty Peacock, and the front panel is Pear Pizzazz. I ran the Pear Pizzazz panel through the Big Shot using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I love the big bold sentiment from the SU Country Home stamp set with the size of the pumpkin.
The fall foliage (Country Home) gives some eye appeal to the front panel, don’t you think?

Stampin’ Up Harvest Hellos Bundle Video Tutorial

August 28, 2019

I enjoyed playing with the NEW Stampin’ Up Harvest Hellos Bundle
with the Apple Builder Punch when I made this Get Well Card.
I am always looking for Get Well sentiments in a stamp set, and this one has one! Yea!

Here are a few tips on how to make it:

It is quite a simple card but the texture on it makes it look extra special to the recipient.
Here are the three embossing folders I used on the card.

A simple slice of apple finishes off the inside.

I love that the bundle includes the Apple Builder Punch that punches out an apple or a pumpkin:)

Stampin’ Up God’s Peace

August 26, 2019

When I saw the NEW Stampin’ Up God’s Peace stamp set,
I was so excited to get it and color with my Stampin’ Blends- so easy!

But then, I could not decide what color to make the ribbon?!?
Still not sure…the photo above has Light Shaded Spruce pines and a Dark Shaded Spruce ribbon. The photo below has Dark Shaded Spruce Pines and a Light Cherry Cobbler Ribbon. Maybe I should make the candles red and the poinsettia white? or maybe a pink poinsettia….I will play around some more. I do know I loved how the candle flames and silhouettes turned out with the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight:)

Always use your paper wisely…cut out things where you paper will be hidden by layers!

I cut my card base down to 4-1/8″ x 11″ so the largest stitched rectangle (DSP) 3-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ fit nicely on the front. The Shaded Spruce rectangle is 3-1/8″ x 4-1/2″ and the white rectangle is 2-5/8″ x 4″.

Stampin’ Up Christmas Gleaming Bundle Sneak Peek

August 23, 2019

I got to play with my Christmas Gleaming Bundle with a Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack today!

More gorgeous metallic accents in the in the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper coming in the Holiday Catalog on Sept. 4th – this time it’s COPPER!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp my Deck the Halls in a straight and centered row:)

I did pull out one of my favorite retired Stampin’ Up Pine Boughs Embossing Folder.
I think it gave a great texture element to the CAS card.

I carried over the copper metallic element into the inside by stamping the holly image and sentiment with the Delicata Celestial Copper Ink Pad.
I must say, this ink stamped so beautifully and a photo does not do it justice! I was sure to let it dry for about 8-10 minutes so it would not smudge. I bet a quick heat set will be great, too.
