Cards that are sent with sadness…

Most cards I make or send are for happy occasions- birthdays, weddings, gratiude…but there comes a time, when I have to send a sympathy card to someone who has lost a loved one. These are sent with sadness for the individual receiving it and the sorrow he or she is feeling. But many times, my heart is rejoicing if that the person who passed away knows Jesus! What a feeling to know that person is with Him now.

TIME for CASology…

A new year is only about a month away.  My oldest son will be graduating law school in May, my middle son will be graduating college in May, and my daughter will finish her junior year of college!! It seems like just yesterday that we were all sitting in our homeschool enjoying the passing of time together but now I find myself saying, “Where has the time gone?” Here’s a card for CASology #20-TIME that expresses that very sentiment…

I popped the sentiment off the embossed panel but it’s probably hard to notice in the photo.

Sparkle and Shine Three Ways…

I combined three challenges today- a sketch from Fab Friday #07 and a color challenge from Dynamic Duos # 30 and Trying Stampin’ on Tuesday # 94. It is so hard to capture bling and silver with my limited photography skills but this card so pretty in person with the silver just sparkling and shining against the crisp white and Midnight Muse background.

Dashing to Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge…

Pals Paper Arts #147 Sketch Challenge was definitely fun and inspiring. I wanted to make a square card but ended up with the traditional A2 size because my scraps from another project using SU Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper were smaller, and I am all about using up my scraps!!! I just love SU Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler inks and paper. And, this DSP is on sale right now…grab it while you can.

Packaged up with Bling for The Paper Players…

I am getting ready for the holidays, and what else would I be giving to those special people in my life? Cards!! Here’s an assortment all packaged up in bling which I thought fit in well with the Player Players Challenge #122 using silver or gold. The card I placed on top that the recipient would  see through the clear packaging is also a silver adorned Anniversary card. Sorry, the photo is sooo bad…long and boring story but I posted it anyway.
