Stampin’ UP! Petal Park Bundle

This card just makes me happy! I don’t know if it is the Stampin’ UP! Regency Park Designer Series Paper, the Stampin’ UP! Petal Park Bundle, or the layout…it just makes me HAPPY!

The flowers and leaves stamped so beautifully when I stamped the ink off one time and stamped inside the outline images. Such pretty colors- Mango Melody, Balmy Blue, and Petal Pink with Shaded Spruce leaves. The Mango Melody dots in the Milky Dots Embellishments are so pretty. I think the photo makes them look metallic but in person such a glossy, bright yellow:)

The Mango Melody Dots DSP is 3″ x 4″ and the floral strips are 1″ x 4″ on the top and bottom. The lovely little sentiment comes from the Stampin’ UP! Beautifully Happy Stamp Set available as a Sale-a-bration Gift of $100 now through the end of February.

Since the stamp and punch combination has three flowers in it, I just used the three other posies on the inside of the card:)

Stampin’ UP! Lovely & Lasting Bundle

I love sharing great cards with you that my friends make- and this is one of them using the Stampin’ UP! Lovely & Lasting Bundle with the Lasting Label Punch.

My friend, Debbi Muche, made this card using strips of the Stampin’ UP! Lovely in Linen Designer Series Paper. Using the strips was a great way to show off the patterns in the DSP that just go randomly seem to go together like a quilt.

I like how Debbi stamped off the large floral image she fussy cut and adhered to her strip background. The image stamped in full strength Night of Navy would not have had the same effect against the faded blue on the DSP.

Stampin’ UP! Something Fancy Bay Window Fun Fold Video Tutorial

I made my first Bay Window Fun Fold! I was happy to showcase the beautiful Stampin’ UP! Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper with the Stampin’ UP! Something Fancy Bundle.

It folds flat… and then tucks into the side label to create a “bay window” effect.

Here is a video showing how I made it:

As seen in the video, place the folded score line against the right edge of inside panel. Then lay the 3/8″ portion down on the inside DSP and put dimensionals along the edge. Then center the sentiment label on the DSP on top of the dimensionals. I didn’t have the gold foil strip on yet in the photo in case you are confused!

It was great to use 6 x 6 DSP for this with just a nice 2″ x 6″ piece leftover:)

How fun and easy is this fold? I love it! What a great way to showcase DSP with this kind of design. Make sure to cut in line with the design if it has one especially if it is a landscape pattern.

Measurements: Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored on 11″ side at 3/8″, 1-7/8″, 3-5/8′, 5-1/8″ and 5-1/2″, DSP 4″ x 5-1/2″ cut from left to right at 1-1/4″x 4″, 1-1/2″ x 4″, 1-1/4″ x 4″, and 1-1/2″ x 4″ as seen in video, (2) 1/4″ x 4″ Gold Foil Strips, Inside panel: 3-1/4″ x 4″, scraps for sentiment labels

Stampin’ UP! Easter Bunny Bundle

Another fun shoebox swap from last week using the Stampin’ UP! Easter Bunny Bundle.

My friend, Jackie Walker, created a great swap. I tweaked it just a tad adding in a black border, some ribbon, and opals on my card. I love to add in another black element when I use black ink.

Stampin’ UP! Lucky Clover Bundle

Here is a great card my friend Janet Munden brought to our shoebox swap. It is just so fresh and clean I had to share it with you:) The Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder is a fresh new texture to add to cards- I love it!

You can open it to the left or the right…

The flap on the front is 2-1/4″ tall with a 2″ x 4″ piece of DSP. The stamped outside and inside white panel is 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ with a 2-3/4″ x 4″ green border. The inside embossed white is 4″ x 5-1/4″.
