My sweet friend and team member, Kathy Creps, sent this artsy card to me when I had surgery to help me out. I misplaced it but was so, so happy I found it because I wanted to share it with you all. She used the Stampin’ UP! Nature’s Prints for the background, Irresistible Blooms for the leaves, Sentimental Park and Petal Park for the flowers, and the sentiment from Circle Sayings.

Kathy inspired me to show you how to make a Faux Tile Technique using the Stampin’ UP! Textured Floral stamp set. I used Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder with my Heat Tool to make it resemble ceramic tile. Just be patient, it takes a few minutes:)

I think I definitely needed to emboss the sentiment tag- it made a big difference. What do you think, do you like the matching embossed look or the white sentiment tag?

Hello, friends! I am back from Las Vegas and ready to stamp but my internet was not ready to let me post until now…I decided to play along with Freshly Made Sketches #600! WOW! That’s a lot of sketches- thank you to the Design Team and all those who have played along with this challenge site that inspires so many of us!

I used the bright and cheery Christmas bundle called Merry & Bright. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! I also used the NEW Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder- it can be used portrait of landscape with words reading each way! It was a great way to jazz up the background!

The stamps are fabulous along with a huge amount of dies to go with them. You can stamp two kinds of Christmas lights/bulbs and also die cut the stamped images or do card stock die cuts. You can add a filament to the stamped images and even to the die cuts to create fun festive lights.

I love that the sentiments stamp so clean are so easy to fussy cut into a rectangle and pop on a card! Isn’t that Merry Bold and Bright Designer Series Paper so cute?!?!?

I just had to share these pretty cards with you because they make me smile when I see them! My sweet friend, Debbie Malucci, made them for me while I was recovering from my surgery this summer. I am sure a lot of you still have these stamps/dies so I hope you are inspired by Debbie’s creativity.

You know, these are two bundles that I really, really loved- the Shaded Summer stamp set with the Shadowed Summer Dies and the Positive Thoughts with the Nature’s Thoughts Dies. I thought Debbie’s choice of colors was great on the card on the left- the black is just perfect to accent the Mint, Soft Seafoam, and Petal Pink. The Gray Granite card base was a nice choice to do with the collage of flowers and leaves in soft tones on the card on the right. I have looked at these cards on my shelf many times and am very thankful to have a friend like her. Thank you, Debbie, for thinking of me:)

Have a great weekend, friends…I am at a Stampin’ UP! Leadership Retreat in Las Vegas for the weekend. So far, it has been a nice trip getting here without any travel glitches.

After I die cut the stamped NOEL out of a scrap of white card stock on my Monday card…

I had a burst of creativity come upon me…and made these two cards using only a 4″ square of valuable Gold Foil! Let’s pretend the white negative on the left card is on straight! LOL.

To use my Gold Foil and Stampin’ UP! Joy of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper to the max, I cut the main piece with the two gold leaves for the other card. I used the same die to cut around the Noel and the Shaded Spruce with gold accented plaid. I adhered the DSP to the back of the Noel die cut. Don’t forget to save the inside of the “O”!

I decided to use the Merry Melody Embossing Folder on both cards but I know the NEW Distressed Tile 3D would be fabulous on it, too- really any EF would do. I like the Merry Melody EF since when I say NOEL, I always sing it…Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel…born is the King of Israel!

It’s hard to choose which one I like best, which is your favorite one? These two cards with die cuts and the Alphabet make them a diagonal on TicTacToe Challenge # 222– Die Cuts-Free-Alphabet

Both cards are A2 sized so you can just score a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2 side to get a landscape or a portrait card. The outside white panel and the inside are both 4″ x 5-1/4″.
