I made this card with the Stampin’ UP! Kangaroo & Company Bundle with the Be Mine Stitched Dies and the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder to give some texture to the background.

I love that cool clustered hearts die in the Be Mine Stitched Dies that do double duty on the outside with the little scattered hearts and the inside of the card as an open lacy die:)

I colored my kangaroo belly and the baby with my Stampin’ UP! Watercolor pencils. I used my Stampin’ UP! blender pen to smooth out the color. I almost forgot that technique!

It’s a versatile set with a bunch of cute things you can put in the Mama Kangaroo’s pocket- hearts, presents, mail, flowers, and what about that little birthday party hat!

I could not wait to play with the Stampin’ UP! Handsomely Suited Bundle. I used the NEW Double Oval Punch, too. The bordering oval is not actually scalloped so it’s great for masculine cards!

It’s a great bundle with a lot of fun ways to use it. I feel like I just made the simplest card with it on my first try out of the gate. I keep looking at the samples in the catalog and on Pinterest and can’t wait to do some more cool things with it! Here is a video showing off the bundle…

Love the classic necktie…

and the fun bow tie! There are actually two bow ties in the stamp set!

The scored pinstripes on the suit and the stitched detail on the shirt really add texture to the card. That strip the buttons sit on is also a die for suspenders.

The scoring really looks cool in person!

The Petal Pink color lends a comforting feel to this card. Just Jade is such a beautiful color that goes well with Subtle colors like Petal Pink and bright colors like Magenta Madness, too. The sentiment from the Sale-a-bration Stamp Set Heal Your Heart fit nicely inside the heart die cut on the front. The inside sentiment matches the outside with the delicate font and a flower from the Always in My Heart Stamp Set. The Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder and the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper finished out the design.

Happy New Year, Friends !!

I sure am hoping and praying that 2021 pans out to be a better year for all of us!

I used the Stampin’ UP! Word Wishes and Stitched Stars Dies along with the Best Year Stamp Set. The copper dotted background comes from an old Sale-a-Bration DSP called Flowering Foils. I still have some left, do you?

The fun fold is called a Planter Box Card. I did one about a month ago- see the video tutorial HERE. Seeing the picture as I post this…I think I would make my bordered Nested Label Die black inside of copper, I think it would pop more, huh?
