Hello, friends!

Just wanted to let you know that I am doing another

I just got back from my monthly four days in Pittsburgh that “fill my cup.” Boy, is it fun to see all the girls each month to craft and share our lives. I am blessed beyond measure! I would say my cup runneth over with joy seeing each and every one of them!

So, I flew up to Pittsburgh on a super early flight on pre-order day! Imagine how dicey it was to pre-order on the plane to Pittsburgh with sketchy internet and a bazillion demos pre-ordering and the Last Chance Products Sale starting for everyone!

I was so excited to see the boxes in the foyer waiting for me last night at 11:15 pm when I got home from the airport (and the sink full of four days of dishes, too- hubby was working on a project all week and did not have time to load the dishwasher…lol) but I was still on a high from being in Pittsburgh with my friends that I happily got the sink cleaned…but the anticipation of getting the products into my hands…I am waiting to do in a video this weekend!

As we reflect today on Good Friday, let us prepare our hearts for our Easter celebration and Jesus’ victory over death! I love the humbly sketched image of the Savior of the World.

The simple images were dressed up with texture on the gatefold panels. I used the ovals in the Framed Florets Dies to die cut Jesus. The dove was die cut with the retired Stitched Shapes first and then bordered with a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The inside is super simple, too! I did double ovals on the inside of the front image to create a polished look. I put two of the sentiments together.

I am sure you have seen the fun Split Lattice Card Technique floating around the internet! I think it can be traced back to Bibi Cameron from the UK. I have seen so many different samples of this technique so I though I would throw one in the ring!

I used the Stampin’ UP! Heavenly Hollyhocks Bundle for my card since I had not seen it made with that yet! Once you open it, it has another layer to it…

It is quite easy to do…take a look at the video I made:

Measurements: Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″, Cut off 3-1/4″ off the bottom of the front of the card. Take that 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece and cut off (5) 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ pieces for the horizontal strips of the lattice- you will be left with a 3/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece you cut in half to make (2) 3/8″ x 4-1/4″ pieces for the vertical strips of the lattice, Inside Basic White folded card is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ with a sliver cut off the 5-1/2″ side so it fits inside better at the fold of the card, DSP: 3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″

HELLO, Lemon Lime Twist…

HI, Berry Burst…

LUV YA, and so happy we are coming back to the Stampin’ UP! Color Collections!

So excited that these colors are coming back- they have never “really” left my stamp room…ok- that may give you a sense of my inability to let things go…lol. But the Stampin’ UP! Conversation Bubbles Bundle is leaving us…it’ s a fun one:) I really like the long die that cut across the bottom that could put a dream in the sky!

A favorite embellishment of mine is leaving, too…the Black Matte Dots…sniff, sniff…

Just a simple little added bubble to the inside…
