Well, the Modern Oval Punch is still unavailable for purchase until April 22 or so…but it is carrying over into the NEW Stampin’ UP! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog! So…now is the time to grab the Stampin’ UP! Filled with Happiness stamp set before it retires!!!

I hunted all day to find this pretty card my friend, Debbi Muche, sent me last week. And, finally, found it under another card on a stack of other stuff I was working on. Can you relate??? I wanted to show how pretty the stamped image is that Debbi stamped using Pebble Path ink, a lovely brownish gray.

I truly love Petal Pink, a peachy pink that goes so well with other colors- kind of like a neutral color. I love that Debbi sponged on some light tinges of Petal Pink.

The Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Gems are little chameleons- changing colors to match the color they are put on. One of the most versatile embellishments in the Annual Catalog!

I have a beautiful gift you can make using the Stampin’ UP! Thoughtful Expressions Bundle.

I started with a 5″ x 7″ frame and then made my Pool Party canvas that size. My white panel is 4″ x 6″ die cut with the retired Stampin’ UP! Split Card Texture Die.

Our class used their retired Stamparatus (or any stamp positioning tool you have) to stamp a hummingbird, a double flower image, and single flower image and LEFT the stamps on the tool. Then, you can use a negative of the die cuts to glue around each image. Then, you die cut three “blanks” each of the hummingbird, the double flower image, and the single flower image. WITHOUT removing the stamps from the Stamparatus, you can easily and quickly stamp three of each image. Two go on the frame as seen above. Here is a pic of what I just typed:

Here is the card to use the other images:

It’s a fun easel card. Here are directions:

1. Score the Pool Party card stock at 4-1/4″ and 5-1/2″ on the 11″ side.
2. Score on the diagonal from the top right corner of the card front to the 4-1/4″ score line at the bottom to create the fold back part of the easel.
3. Adhere down the 1-1/4″ scored section by the 5-1/2″ score line so the card looks like an open book. On this section, adhere a 1″ x 4″ piece of white card stock and then a 3/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of black cardstock followed by a 1/2″ x 5″ piece of DSP.
4. Adhere a 3-1/2″ square of DSP to a 3-3/4″ black square and then adhere to a 4″ white square. Another 4″ white square gets adhered to the inside of the card.
5. Adhere the white bordered DSP panel to the bottom triangle you created when you scored diagonally. Only put adhesive on the bottom triangle so the upper part can swing open to sit on the easel on the inside created by the two flower image popped up on the inside lower right corner.
6. On the front, stamp the sentiment on the Thoughtful Expressions Die and add the hummingbird and single flower.

We also made a tag using the largest Thoughtful Expressions Dies. We put them in a white organza bag with paper shreds. I can’t find a pic right now but will add when I do:)
