A Trophy Card popped up on my Pinterest…and it inspired me to make a card at midnight. My stamping loft is right by my bedroom, and I always tell myself…don’t go over there…it’s time for bed. But somehow, I ended up making a card using the Stampin’ UP! Simply Zinnia stamp set found in the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES section in my Stampin’ UP! website– not in a catalog. It has super dies with it, too!

And of course, the card had to be posted…so now it’s 1:18 am…

The “trophy” slides in a fun fold that folds flat to go in an A2 size envelope.

Here is a video of a card I did a ways back with the SAME measurements. The fantastic sentiment is stamped on a 1″ x 3-1/2″ piece of white card stock bordered by a 1-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of black card stock. The three colors of DSP in Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, and Highland Heather are all 1-1/4″ x 4″. I picked those colors since my flowers were colored those colors with Granny Apple Green stems/leaves. You could also use the gorgeous Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper!

Need a masculine gift for a family member or friend? I have a neat one to share with you using the Stampin’ UP! Trusty Tools Bundle and the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-bration. I gave the one I made to my friend Cherie’s husband who is a talented wood worker. They are my sweet friends who host me each month when I travel back to Pittsburgh for classes. OOPS! It looks like my toolbox lost a few black rivets on its travel to Pittsburgh…

I got my frame from Micheals. It is a 5″ x 5″ Multipurpose Frame with glass that I put behind the work of art! Here is what they look like in the store. Make sure it is the “Mulitpurpose” one as there is another 5″ x 5″ frame that has a thin frame that will not work with my measurements.

I built my project on a 5″ x 5″ piece of white cardstock that I trimmed out with 4 pieces of 1″ x 5″ strips of the yellow ruler patterned paper. Then I adhered a 4″ x 4″ piece of black cardstock in the middle of the ruler. I put a 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of the red/gray pattern paper on the black. I ran the silver tool box through the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder and put in the tools. I stamped the “you’re the most AWESOME” from the Trusty Tools stamp set. The word “Friend” is in the Stampin’ UP! Best Family Ever stamp set..so many words to mix and match in that set…a good one to have in the stamping toolbox!

Here’s an easy fun fold that will WOW your friends and family! I used the NEW Petunia Pop and the returning Pretty in Pink for my color palette. I love the NEW Flowers of Beauty Bundle, too!

It opens up…and look at clean look of the NEW Simply Said sentiment stamp set!

So easy to do…here are some tips!

I could not resist diving into some of the NEW stuff from the upcoming Stampin’ UP! Annual 2024-2025 Catalog. One new Designer Series Paper that I got for a prize patrol in Houston was the 12″ x 12″ Stampin’ UP! Unbounded Beauty. This paper has all the new In Colors in it! And one particular pattern has three colors that look fantastic together- Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink, and Summer Splash. So, I got out the Stampin’ UP! Unbounded Love Bundle to make some cards!

I added some ribbon and some of the beautiful In Color Shimmer Gems that coordinated. The sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamps and was cut out with the Unbounded Love Dies. So many great ways to use the dies! I used what would be the “inside negative” of a scalloped oval frame and adhered it to a solid stitched oval scalloped die. I liked how the scallops lined up.

The sentiments are lovely and pair well.

I love that I was able to mix and match the pieces on my card with the three colors in the DSP. I die cut sentiment from the white 3-3/4″ x 5″ panel on the front of the card. The white panel sets of colors on the card and also brings out the white in the DSP. The Perennial Postage Die frame was cut from the 4″ x 5-1/4″ colored panel on each card. I then cut the sentiment out of the postage frame before I added the DSP. Then I just mix and matched all the cards!
