Stampin’ UP! Meant to Bee

March 28, 2025

Hello, friends! Just wanted you to know I am still alive! I finally feeling better. But you know the saying…when it rains, it pours? Yep, it’s been pouring…had to take care of a hubby who had exploratory shoulder surgery on Tuesday (general anesthesia – kind of like getting a rotator done without getting it done with recovery of the shoulder) to assure he was a candidate for a reverse shoulder next month…Praise the Lord, he is able to get it! However, Wednesday night he spent the night in the ER with an acute gallbladder attack with his shoulder still hurting from the surgery- at home now really sick but no surgery as of today. He’s never had any gallbladder issues. God is good and highly to be praised through all of this. Today is our 38th wedding anniversary, isn’t this card a cute one to give him?

This adorable card was created by a lovely lady who shared it with me at the Onstage Raleigh event…although I did not swap, Debbie Modrowsky was kind enough to give me one when I told her I loved her swap since I was CindyLeeBEE…

I love the way you can use the large hexagon dies to create a shaped card- this card fits and fills up an A2 sized card nicely. The two bees in the Stampin’ UP! Meant to Bee Bundle are larger and smaller than the bees in the Bee my Valentine Punch Bundle. See the dies below…you can die cut two bees with wings and nested hexagon shapes. The hexagons cut out the bordered open hexagons and drop out an inside hexagon ( the dark images). So you can put a border around each of the hexagons…how versatile is that? I can’t wait to use mine!

Stampin’ UP! Birthday Celebration Flip Flap Shaker Card Video Tutorial

March 19, 2025

I have a fun Shaker Card for you using the awesome Stampin’ UP! Flip Flaps!

Look up the Flip Flaps online HERE. There are 12 to a package and open from the end with the white adhesive strip. Watch my video below to see how to use them…they are cool!

You can see in the video how I adapted the size of my arch from the Everyday Arches Dies…you can play around with the flip flaps sizes and the die cut shapes you use on your shaker card. And, the gold sentiment comes from THOUGHTFUL MOMENTS HYBRID EMBOSSING FOLDER- I said Expressions incorrectly in the video:(

Measurements: Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ on the 11″ side, DSP on the front: 4″ x 5-1/4″, White inside arch cut from 4″ x 5-1/4″, Pretty in Pink inside flip flap: 3″ x 4″

I brought the Everyday Arches die inside, too.

Onstage 2025 Convention Highlights

March 18, 2025

Is it Tuesday already?!?! I am still not recovered from a three week whirlwind of events…we moved a few miles down the road with everything stacked in my garage…(oh my, 85% of the move was crafting supplies!)

I am thankful to have a room partially set up…but everything is not where it is supposed to be…just shoved everywhere…

I left the mess and headed to my happy place to stamp with my Pittsburgh gals for a week of classes but ended up sick on the plane trip up there but luckily got in all the classes! I got home had a few days of babysitting, thought I was on the road to recovery, and then spent five days with 2500 demonstrators that threw me back a few steps. But it was a wonderful time! I so enjoyed seeing the new products and being reminded that we are all part of a bigger picture sharing our love of crafting but more importantly, sharing our lives with each other:) Here is the fun staircase we were greeted with in the convention center…I snuck out to use the restroom and got a great shot ot it!

I met up with old friends…

And met a NEW friend, Melinda Goodwin…

Melinda is a demo from North Carolina about a 1/2 hour from Raleigh and decided to stay at the hotel and not run back and forth. We actually met her when we were coming out of the hotel when we first arrived. Later that afternoon, we ran into her again and invited her to dinner with us. She survived being with us and became part of our group! We became fast friends. She is so fun and interesting, not to mention TALENTED! She generously gave me three of her swaps using the Stampin’ UP! Rain or Shine Bundle.

See how wonderfully she colors with the Stampin’ UP! Blends…

The Rain or Shine Bundle is a special one for me since I demonstrated it when it first came out in November 2022 in Pittsburgh. Here is a video I made of my presentation. Not sure if it is carrying over or not?!?

I will post more of some great swaps later this week with some sneak peeks….but have to run and take care of two under the weather kiddos…we are all not feeling well but I wanted you to know I had not forgotten you! Hugs:)
